Correction: it isn't one-shotting, but still does heavy damage for something that you can miss seeing among the harmless background asteroids.

The asteroid field levels have the problem that there're background asteroids that won't do anything to you and foreground ones that'll hurt you if you hit them, and it's not always the easiest thing telling them apart. Not only that, the larger ones can apparently one-shot you. So it's possible to die suddenly in those levels.

Uh. Is this entirely voiced? If so, it's entirely inaccessible to a deaf player like me. Could you add subtitles or at least an option to turn them on?

Although I strongly disagree with the people downrating this game because of the unlockables not being available on this site. It's a perfectly fun and beatable game without the unlockables.

Just as a FYI, there's a PC version available as well as a mobile version, so the mobile isn't your only option for the unlockable heroes. Still, I think a lot of people on this site would appreciate a Kred option. 50 Kreds would be about the same as the mobile version cost. You'd get sales from people who only use Kreds. Also, it'd let people play the unlocked version while keeping their progress.

Overall, this game has some interesting ideas, but the implementation's quite poor. A very small grid makes getting combos a matter of pure luck, and the high technique costs means you can't really compensate for that with proper technique usage. There're also far too many filler battles with fairly repetitive enemies. This makes for a game that takes far more grind than skill. The arbitrary level restrictions on equipment're fairly pointless since you never get items more than a level above your own, and an extra level's worth of item stats isn't really gamebreaking.

I'm disappointed that by default I get assigned a male avatar. Non-whites in the game would be nice, too.

If you're going to be doing a video walkthrough, could you please at least do one video for every individual level? Otherwise, it will be rather inconvenient waiting for the whole video to load and then trying to fast-forward through to the exact level you're stuck on. Most video walkthroughs I've seen on this site aren't very good, for those reasons.

Fairly cute. It's not often you find games using the clay style. What I really liked was the level design. The hidden platforms were logically placed in a manner that made it fun to figure out where they should be. In fact, the level design overall felt better than many of the platformers I've played, including ones with more gimmicky character abilities.

Oh, yeah, and an additional comment: while I don't notice such things because of my deafness, my boyfriend just said the narrator's voice acting was so poor it actually made him laugh.

I'd like to comment that I've been quite enjoying this game (5 starred it), and it's good to see the developer working on improving it in response to suggestions. However, a few bits of annoyances. The random loot drops could use better weighing. Aside from the class weighing issue (if you do that, don't forget to account for your companion also needing gear), I keep getting early game crap later in the game (which can feel unsatisifying to fight through enemies and get useless stuff). Also, fairly early in the game I got a sword that so far's been better than every other sword I've found so far. And I get to customize my character but don't get an option to play a woman? Not all of us here are guys, you know, and some men like playing women anyway (and vice versa).

Could you add subtitles in the intro (and any other similar movies) for those of us who're deaf? I also know people who often play games with the sound off for assorted reasons. I appreciate that the in-game dialogue has text at least, though.

I'm deaf. I was unable to do the South/North puzzle. While I like those web games, I keep running into ones that don't really give consideration to playing them without sound. Cutscenes without subtitles and gameplay elements like this can make it impossible for us to appreciate the story or even complete the game at all.

I'm really not kidding about that timer detracting from the game. The debuffs and buffs have a huge impact, but I don't even have the time to really inspect them because of that timer. A game with a fair deal of tactical depth gets turned into a frantic scramble to put my moves in before the timer runs out. It's the single most terrible idea in an otherwise really fun game.

The timer became extremely annoying once I realized this was essentially a turn based battle system but with limited time to make decisions. I really don't feel that it adds much to what's a fairly good tactical game. The timer's so prohibitively short that I barely have time to set an ally's strategy and then make a move. I often miss out on making my move, and I don't have much time to consider strategy. For this or the next game, could that timer be removed or at least lengthened? You could simply make it an option.

I generally like concepts like this. However, the controls feel rather unresponsive (though honestly I never was a big fan of tank-style controls like this). Your enemies seem far more maneuverable than you. Aiming is difficult due to slow turning and enemies that zip around with relative ease. Energy consumption and regeneration is too prohibitive, leaving you desperately trying to escape while enemies relentlessly pursue you, since you don't have the energy to use your weapons. The cell enemy is nearly invisible on my screen, making it hard to tell when I'm really surrounded. Some of this is probably personal preference and relative lack of skill with games with this type of control. But the controls really do feel unnecessarily challenging, and I prefer my challenges to come from things like dangerous foes and environments or intricate tasks.
