Seriously though, this game is just fundamentally broken. When I'm level 5 and have a level 7 sword and shield, a level 5 ghost shouldn't take more than one potion from me. Hell, it shouldn't even get the upper hand on me.
Also they should make a badge called Song Stealer: For when you realize that the Ant Queen's battle music is stolen from Kingdom Hearts. That is, assuming she only has one song.
I take back most of what I said. Loading only takes once per menu, the game never freezes or glitches, and connecting with players is fast and easy. I for one make roughly $80,000 a year and I have NO problem simply not purchasing things with real-life money. I use regular dynamite (which lasts a full year) as my weapon and I have more than a 55% win ratio. I spend all of my vouchers on surprise boxes. I spend medals on EXP boosts and I spend gold on team-heals. This game is fun, but from the people I've played against I've learned that most of you leaving negative comments just SUCK at the game. Protip: Get hit? MOVE.
Holy shit this is a lot of Maple Story for one game. Fix it up, would you? It's so poorly optimized, really. Even on my high-end gaming rig it can have a bit of slow-down, and the loading times are ungodly.
This game is infinitely worse than the second because of the wack hit-detection and the fact that all the songs are way too long.
Both games have had awful music, save one or two Evil-Dog songs, but making me play through three and a half minutes of whiny emo alternative just to get to more Evil-Dog music is torture, and possibly grounds for capital punishment.
Way to capitalize on the internet's stupidity by making a game about hurting a young celebrity. The only way you could've made this more "popular" would be by making Paris Hilton and Osama Bin Laden unlockable characters.
@Corloc I hate users that whine needlessly because they aren't being waited on hand-and-foot by a game designed to challenge them. No idea why they need to have their hands held. No talent! Fail!
This game is a glitchy pile of garbage with awful voice acting, terrible graphics, a grind-by-numbers quest/combat system, and sub-par music that sounds like what Lord of the Rings picks out of its teeth after waking up. Go play something better.
I have only one thought for making this game quicker that hasn't already been listed: Make potions get -used- when you click them in item screens for throwing stuff away. If I want to grab this sword, and I have missing HP, and my inventory is full, let me use the potion. That's all. Great game, fun mechanics, love the EXP system.
Hey, this game is pretty fun, but I have two suggestions to make it -very- playable. One? Put small explosive diameters around the dynamites as you plant them, to show how big they will encapsulate. Two? The number stick you place correlates to the number keys for quick-touch explosions in order. You could also keep the numbers in sight during play so nobody forgets.
Yo, this auto-pause feature is absolute garbage. What, I can't chat while my TOWER DEFENSE GAME plays in the background? Either make it an option or take it out entirely. Also, give the four-way shooter a better final stage. +2 damage only isn't worth $1800. Good game otherwise. Four stars I guess.
I'd just like to say that if you want to leave a comment, make it worthwhile to read. Nobody gives a damn if you like other games better. Go play those games if you're going to whine all day without being actively constructive. That's why your comment is -5, and the ones up top are all actually worth reading.
Well, I completed the game. The music was a fantastic piece, I have to say, and really helped set the atmosphere. Game was fast-paced, simple, and fun. Looked fine, played alright, and really the only suggestion I have would be to balance it out a little more with melee weapons behaving differently depending on the type. Still, that having been said, the game was -very- fun to play, and I never hit any sort of snags. 5/5.
