Yo, what's with Strength not leveling up my damage? That's frikkin' stupid. What, I'm gonna go lift weights and hit bags for a few hours, but my arms won't get any stronger?
Next time, try not to rip off SO MANY ICONS as blatantly as you did from Pet Protector 2. Course, I dunno if that guy ripped off something else, so hey. Needless to say, this game rocks pretty god-damn hard, everything about it is pretty solid. Lots of cool, balanced units and skills, plenty of upgrading room, and a great quest/loot system. Keep up the good work.
Man, this game ROCKS! Seriously, an awesome beat-em-up with great music and awesome sounds/voice acting, the weapons are creative and unique and the character creation/AI all rock. Great game, 5/5.
I must apologize for the muting comments, I clearly did not read and thusly missed the seemingly camouflaged mute button.
My apologies, again, because I -really- enjoy this game. I find myself playing it over and again because it's so addicting.
Okay, so... this game is awful.
Terrible looks, terrible sounds stolen blatantly from other games, lame animations, crippling story/characters...
And it's just broken. I hit mute after not too long at all, because the sound quality was so lame, and it's so wrecked that it -still- played bits and pieces of sounds at random. And speaking of broken, have you ever heard of "Difficulty curve?" You need one. I've played your other games on Newgrounds, and it's a shame that, in comparison, your "Adventure" (Point, click, and rub each item against every other item) games actually look stomachable against this. It's messy, it plays bad, it's not fun, and it doesn't tell a story worth telling. By anybody's standards. Just try again, would you? I realize this game -could- have been good.
I'm sorry to comment twice on the same game, but I must stress this greatly: Make Music Mutable.
First game had the same problem. It is simply impossible to cut out the music entirely, and that gets in the way of quite a bit considering multitasking.
This game is a straight-up upgrade to the original. It's fun, paces well, and has once-again amazing musical accompaniment.
My only complaints about it are that you still have no left-handed or two-handed weapons, and no female characters.
Maybe a few more basic hair-styles are in order, too?
Still, this game is fantastic and I enjoyed the new spellwork as well as the village-based upgrading system. The massive amount of explorable places and school/job opportunities give a huge bonus for customization of your gameplay. And not to mention, I like how you have to train your character in combat rather than just boost his strength a lot so he can smash things. Definitely a great game, with lots of re-playability, five stars.
While the voice-acting certainly hints towards "Shitty Newgrounds stick animation" the rest of the game shines quite nicely.
Great, hardcore music and sound effects, pretty nice graphics and design, and a great overall play style.
My only problem is that it's impossible from a tactical standpoint, with unbalanced units and enemies. Flameants were pretty much useless, but the rolling enemies were far too strong, taking three fully-upgraded machinegunners just to possibly take one out. Supposedly, the pyros are good against them, but I've had two versus one and they both failed to take the roller out. It's fun, it looks and sounds great, but there are a few minor standings that bring it down. Down to a four, that is, which isn't really down at all.
This is fun, inventive, original, and has beautiful music to accompany you.
I really enjoy this game so far, and I can't wait to see what kind of other towers I can unlock.
This is an alright game.
It's ufn, it's simple, and the achievement/upgrade system made it playable for quite a while, as far as endurance games go.
I just wish it had been open-ended... Personally, I think a mouse upgrade is in order. I'm sick of just barely moving my mouse out of the border, and my whole flock stands still while the plane kills all of us.
Here's a thought: Permanent bonuses from trophies.
Moving your mouse over the trophy gives the name, and lists the bonus.
Oh, and perhaps a very simple weapon system, with one or two types of weapon and animation for each class. Something to help people customize their little characters.
The game's fun, but only so.
I request something a little bigger, with higher top speeds and varying fuel bonues sizes.
Just mixing it up slightly and making things go faster would make this game much better.
