The Moon (Scientific name the Moon)
Known for Earth and Earth
Seems all the planet descriptions are messed up. Mars has what should be for the moon, Ceres and Jupiter are reversed, etc.
The gameplay itself is somewhat interesting, but what I enjoy the most is the races and their different projects and items and such. I'd really enjoy seeing little little snippets for the various items and buildings, how they're important or unique for the race, something like that.
Wonderfully fun. I both like and dislike how easy it is to find things with the cursor, since it changes and highlights what you're looking for. I like it because it is easy to scan with the cursor if you really want, but I was sad when I moved my mouse by mistake and found one of the mice that way. Still, very cute and entertaining. Wonderful work.
Sloop crits my Galleon, one shotting it from full health... again. The crit mechanic is so stupid. Make it do double damage or something, but don't let it be an instant kill.
I feel like this game could be so much more. The tactical combat could be so much more interesting. Damage on ships doesn't matter at all, nor does whittling down crew beyond trying to do a board. Would be great if damage could destroy cannons, or lowered crew could mean fewer attacks or movement. Having weapons that could focus on crippling a ship, and perhaps having a capture instead of simply boarding to sink. This just feels like it is the groundwork of a great game that stopped a step or two short of greatness.
It'd be really nice to get an indication that you've gained something from achievements beyond a little ! icon indicating that you've achieved something new, with no info about what it was or what it got you.
Why do I have bowmen and marksmen? Why do the marksmen have wings? What's the point of click power when battles are over in 1-2 seconds? Are slaves even increasing my gold income? By how much?
It would be great to have a 'save formation' button, so that you can save your current formation before messing around with various setups to see if you've changed anything without having to remember how you had things in the first place.
I find that 9/10 of my early game losses are because I have 2-3 units, and one of them runs in front, blocking my own units while meeting all 2-4 enemy units at once and getting instantly crushed. Combat really really needs to be worked on. Otherwise, awesome game.
The game is a bunch of fun, but the combat is terribly painful because of the way my units always seem to form a line to walk into the enemy one at a time. I'm tired of losing tons of units to inferior forces because my guys decide to 1v3
As to balance, I'd have to say one major issue is that after the first few worlds, defense and jobs both become completely worthless. What's a couple million wood/sec when I get 50 trillion from battles? Much better to keep them all as breeders so you can send out death squads more often.
Thank you!
