Pretty fun so far. I'm a big fan of DnD, and this game is so reminiscent of all the little things in miniature rpging - difficult terrain, etc. And to think it mixes so well with a ccg format! Really well done. And I'm SUPER glad, and I can see from other commenters that I am not alone in this, that the free to play aspect of it isn't so terribly inhibited and saddening as it is in many newer games on Kong. Keep it up, please!
Great work here. It's both a good game in and of itself (I've finished the whole playthrough and didn't feel like it was really lacking in any way), and a fantastic start to something bigger. I look forward to seeing any improvements and added content that you choose to make, and thanks for actually reading people's comments and responding to their feedback! That means so much to players. :)
I liked this game initially. It's pretty fun early on, and the basics are easy to grasp. I especially liked gaining new character options and upgrading characters to make them stronger from the get-go. However, it really does get monotonous after a while, and there are a few elements that don't seem to work well for late game enjoyment. As mentioned in other comments, there is no practical use besides health conversion for most of the spells after a certain point. The same goes for some of the equipment, just because the stat changes don't increase in later levels, as they should to maintain the same level of balance from using them earlier on. I can't say I didn't enjoy playing the game, but I can say that it's not a game I feel like playing again, or for very long.
Challenging game, super fun. It's pretty hard to get into at first, but once I got the hang of it, I felt pretty accomplished. I enjoyed having a puzzle game that isn't quite as simplistic as the other ones I see coming out on Kong right now.
Another tip for those who might want to try to rush to the boss battle: upgrade your jump and double-jump, and take the shortcut on the left of where you start. Takes mere seconds to get to the end that way (but kinda useless if you're trying to grind coins instead).
It is a really cute game, and I love both the graphics and the music. The equipment system is fun but could definitely use a little tweaking to make it more user-friendly (not going to list things, they're already mentioned in other comments). But the real thing that's dragging me down is the lag. Playing a run-and-upgrade game with tons of lag straight from the early levels makes it feel like slow going, which kinda takes the fun out of a sidescrolling platformer like this one.
Not a bad game. A little tricky at first to figure out when/how the red blocks are going to move, but I think that's as much a part of the puzzle aspect as the rest of it. Hope this gets some more plays!
While I don't think it's as great as the other games put out by Pastelgames, I'm not sure why all of the comments are so full of complaints. It's still a cohesive game, and I enjoyed playing through it if only for the atmospheric qualities.
I loved the puzzle aspect, but the static-merge into the original image is a bit much and definitely breaks into the lulling atmosphere of the rest of the game. Otherwise, really great. Good difficulty scaling, and wonderful imagery. 4/5
Eh, the only level that was at all challenging was the last one, and that's because I didn't accidentally come across a "snap" until quite a bit of experimentation. Once things start snapping in any of the puzzles, it just becomes a game of which one snaps in first, and so it's not too much of a puzzler in the end.
Take your time with fixing the update, don't stress too much. Even if I lose my save score, I won't mind a bit replaying through up to the new material. We appreciate all of the effort you've put in so far; it's a marvelous teaching tool. You've kept me coming back every day to check on the update for two weeks now, and you can bet I'll be patient enough to wait longer if necessary. :)
Soooo...obviously not the coolest game in the world, but faultless coding. You could use some proofreading, as a heads-up for further games. Keep it up, practice hard and you'll go places with this.
I'm going to say the same thing that I've said for many other dress-up games...it's not fun to dress someone up if you have to keep clicking the same button to go through a list of options, such that if you accidentally miss something you'd like to wear, you have to go all the way through your options again. Cute styles and all that, but you really need to just show all of the styles at once (perhaps have the same dress button, but have it open a menu of the different styles, so you can choose which one you want at will instead of constantly clicking the 'change dress' button).
Thank for appreciation:)
