Same issues as Zappan, the coin bug and the game freezing. I currently can't get any further in the game due to the wheel key bug (even after restarting from my continued score), but so far it's absolutely great.
"Your 60 Second Life wasn't too bad, but you left out on many opportunities. Maybe you didn't care enough. Maybe you just didn't know what you wanted from life.
You cared about love and took your chances. Not always, but often. You never had much money. But maybe you didn't care much about it anways. Sometimes you were a rather awkward person to be around with. Strange , maybe, but likeable. Hobbies, shmobbies. You obviously had better things to do in life. Maybe something else enriched your life more than any hobby ever could do."
I was surprised by how easily I solved all of the silly puzzles that the hateful little program presented to me. It's not hard to think things through in the end. I really do hate leaving without my hands, though...more's the pity.
Fun game all things considered. I never had issues with the mine density not showing a possible path in all the times I played it...guess some people just tick off the Game Gods, haha. I liked the little powerups and whatnot.
I absolutely love how the music changes with the water depth. I actually fished in different waters to hear the music I liked best, not just to grind for money. A very enjoyable play. :)
There is nothing much more soothing than running and leaping about as a fox while mystical creatures follow you around in a beautiful forest while soft curious music plays. Just saying. You've outdone yourself again. :)
Beautiful artwork. The only qualm I had was the amount of spelling errors...but they were not so bad as to detract from the gameplay itself. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, brief though it was. :)
Overall, a cute game. But I'm going to have to agree with most of the comments on the first page here - the fact that you can't run backwards half as well as you can forwards is quite frustrating. While yes, humans can't physically run backwards well...this type of scrolling game demands better movement capabilities if we're allowed to move on the screen at all. We might as well simply be stationary on the x-axis and be allowed to move up and down only, to pick up items...unfortunately, with the zombie horde coming at you specifically instead of just being stationary on their own axes, this wouldn't work well either. The lack of good movement mechanics made this game too taxing early on, and too much of a frustration to try to excel in.
Lovely artwork. Sadly, I had to cheat a bit with a couple of the riddles...my brain hasn't been working well today with the puzzle games. XD Once I found out the answers, though, I realized how well put-together they all were. Very nice. :)
I just read the introduction. It reminds me considerably of The Phantom Tollbooth, which was one of my favorite books growing up (and still is). Great mood :)
Very nice, thoughtful, and sad. It was quite a bittersweet story to go through, with added memories (such as the frog) mixed in. I felt like Symon had more or less come to terms with some things, but not with others, and was trying to work through both his guilt and his nostalgia through dreams.
and we thank You for playing!
