Cute game, and I like the originality. I at first was a little skeptical about the artwork, but it works well with the tone of the game. I do agree with dalewi that the shot limit for each level is a bit up in the air, but still a great start and an enjoyable game!
Gameplay is smooth, obviously nothing to complain about there. But the ending was kinda sad given your description; I suppose I caught the ghost? And I was beginning to get worried by about level 7 that there wasn't going to BE an end, and that it was a bit of an infinite game where I would NEVER complete my goal. Otherwise, pretty good. 3/5
Because this is exactly what I want to be doing - helping some twerp shirk her responsibilities by dragging a kid back into the playground for her while she makes out with someone that she probably spends tons of time with anyway...
No no no no no. Don't try to publish games if you have tested the game out with people and you have a majorly negative response to what you've created. And please don't start the game out with a crazy seizure-inducing little white screen on the right side of the output window, it's annoying.
1. Always, always proofread the text in your games. If you are not the best speller in the world, then use Spellcheck and then copy/paste the proper spelling into your code, to avoid lines such as "Tap on the image bellow where you find the differece."
2. The red text in the game is a bit difficult to read due to the size and the contrast against the background.
3. I enjoyed the background noice/sounds, they went well with the theme.
4. It's a bit annoying to have to wait for the pen to reset its position before I can point out another difference.
Overall: 2/5
I feel terrible listening to the sweet peaceful music while yanking black teeth out of a toddler's mouth. And who are Emma's parents?! They are awful to let her mouth look like this! 2/5
I want to play this...but it's 12:23 in the morning and just reading the comments makes me want to cry because I know what will be waiting for me once I get those batteries. I think I'm just going to wait until the sun is shining so I can sleep tonight. D:
Sooo...I feel like a complete idiot, but I can't even figure out how to start the game. It looks like I should be starting with the "Rite of Passage" in the Training Zone, because it isn't crossed out, but whenever I hit that button it says it is locked. I can't seem to do anything else either besides save my game and buy a couple upgrades for a computer that I don't have...
Beautiful game visually, but the ending was really dissatisfying and I didn't feel accomplished even after saving a whole little world. The storytelling could realllly use some work.
It's a really delightful game, especially since I'm quite into simulations. The story was interesting, funny, and a little bit quaint. Very nice. The only comment I have is that the replayability is pretty low...the only score I have has been completely maxed out (the best rooms, 5 stars, all stories done, all amenities maxed out, 100.00 rating), and I don't see a reason why I'd ever start another game again, since there really aren't too many different ways to reach the same result. Ultimately, though, a nice game that takes a good little while to beat fully, and I'd look forward to seeing more like it. 5 stars :)
My only recommendation (doubt you could put it in now, but for any future games you make) would be to make the end battle a LITTLE less anticlimactic. You don't even have to do anything to the battle itself; just a sort cinema or something besides the "I beat the boss!" text and the menu...everything else in this game is so nicely thought out that I can't help but feel that the ending is out of place and boring. Otherwise, I had a blast.
I got about halfway through, but really wasn't all that impressed...it's an okay game, but reading the comments really was a downer for me (I know, I know...don't judge based on other people's opinions!). But is there really no skill reset AND a max level? I feel like for little flash games like this, it's better to just allow players to grind until they are mega-powerful, if they so choose. Obviously, you don't have to have all the skills in order to beat the game...but for those who are willing to waste a bunch of time to be completionists (I'm one of these people), it really puts a damper on the game to know that, not only do we not get to become near godlike because of a level cap, but we also basically NEED to know which skills are the best before we actually get far at all. Still, a fairly cute game, and I like the boss's little quips at the beginning of each level. 3/5
I love games like this, that employ a well-known puzzle scheme and then let you watch the world unfold as you solve your way through the levels. (This reminds me quite a bit of Alxemy, actually, which is definitely one of my favorites). Well done, usually my attention span doesn't last too long when I'm just making pixel imagery - your artwork made it much more enjoyable and fulfilling. :)
Absolutely loved this. It's an interesting idea that could easily have gone sour due to the freedom given to the player and their creations, but all of the levels were crafted skillfully enough that there wasn't an issue. An excellent puzzler in places, and always a thrill when I saw one of my inventions come to life properly. Educational as well with the patenting tips throughout...definitely a 5/5 and a favorite from me. :) OH, and love Wallace and Gromit. Used to watch them as a kiddie haha.
Fairly decent game. Moderately puzzling in a few cases. I do wish that the different "difficulties" had different puzzles associated with them...it's a cinch to just go through on the easiest difficulty, learn the puzzles by heart (which takes one playthrough, honestly) and then earn max score on the highest difficulty, because all you have to do is avoid the errors that you know exist. Still, a fairly entertaining game.
Adorable little adventure. Sure, it doesn't really have any replay value, and it might not be at all challenging/intellectual/anything besides mildly humorous, but it's cute! A relaxing way to spend five minutes, brightened up my day for sure. :)
click 1 basic training. Maybe I should use my giant yellow arrow there.
