@NESQueen - As long as the game itself is remembering your progress (did you check the box to make it do that?) then Kong should catch up at some point. Maybe try reloading the page, or logging in and out of your Kong account? If all else fails, complete 150 levels and use the "report missing achievement" feature. You can screenshot the level menus to prove your progress and they'll give you the badge. I've done that for several games with no problems. Good luck!
The sheer volume of language errors make most of the dialogue unreadable. And the story tends to not make a lot of sense, with lots of plot errors. Why would a vampire need to look in a mirror when they don't have reflections?
Then, the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. Why is there an experience stat if battles don't increase your experience? Why is there armor and equipment if you can't change it? Why are there so many save slots for a game that is incredibly linear? Who uses all these save slots? It's not like you can make different choices in different playthroughs. The attacks available are mostly useless (poison doesn't help much, blindness isn't very effective, the only thing you need to do is deal the most damage possible and use rage at the end of a battle). There's no variety in the battles, it's just the same type of enemies broken up by more pointless dialogue. Why do these games all get badges? How can anyone over the age of 12 find this enjoyable?
120 stars ... still 650 points away from the impossible badge. It might be aptly named. Gonna be a lot of grinding, but the game is so much fun it'll be worth trying!
That was fun, I enjoyed the different types of blocks and the different strategies each needed. There was a feeling of randomness to the difficulty level, sometimes the new concepts were introduced with complex setups, then later levels seemed simpler and easier to pass.
This is a very fun game. The upgrade system seems a bit unbalanced, it doesn't feel like you really need the highest levels of your buildings to be effective, but they're fun to try out anyway. I ran into a few bugs where units weren't performing their tasks (like I had barbarians stuck at the 2nd floor door, not going down to the battlefield). But I still give this 5/5.
Hey, look at all the brand new fake accounts whose only activity involves this game! Rate it 5 stars, favorite it, play it, post about how cool it is, and friend other fake accounts who do the same thing! And Kong rewards this artificial rating inflation with badges. Awesome stuff!
I'm pretty sure most of the "total # of buildings built" achievements don't actually track total, they just track the number of buildings you've built since the last achievement was earned. For instance "build 30 total public service buildings" is tracking at 20% (or 6 buildings built). But on the current board I have 3 churches, a fountain, a hospital, a rescue dept, and a police station. 7 buildings on the current map, but the achievement thinks I have 6 total?
So I've found a few quirks in the achievements/quests. 1) The quest that said "collect 500 concrete" actually tracked to 5000, which seems to be the norm for other resource quests. Probably just a typo. 2) The achievement for "total factories built" seems to be ignoring one of the factory types. Farms, lumber yards, quarries, and plantations all say they are factory-type in the build menu. But I have 3 of each (total of 12) and the achievement counter is only showing 9 factories.
About the music: when I first started the sounds were auto-muted. Go to the settings, turn up the volume for the sounds + check the box allowing them to play. I'm not saying auto-mute is bad for starting a game, but you have to know how to unmute them.
That is correct. We choose to turn them off during the tutorial for Web users because you don't have access to the settings right away. We made a quick decision on this as we had other priorities to address.
No sound. As repetitive a game as I've ever played. Too much stuff going on to try to figure out the nuances of the different classes and if it's even worth branching out. Just dumped money into supply upgrades, purchased more units, and mostly grinding the basic quests to get to 100,000. Badges and I'm out. 1 star.
I think the hard badge is actually easier if you turn hard mode on, because the shots are aimed where you're going instead of where you are, which makes changing directions more effective for evading them. If you're trying to move towards a target to punch him in easy mode, he's always shooting at you and it's hard to move far enough side to side to avoid it. In hard mode you can strafe and his shots will lead you, meaning you can then move directly at him.
Aha! Was finally able to navigate the last shooter on the 3rd Subway level without slowing down (have to block 3 shots at different distances). Lowered that time from 18.46 to 16.73. Top 10 now!
I would love to see the fastest times people have on each level. I've been trying to speedrun each level and I've made it into the top 15 high scores, but I'm struggling to find places to shave off time. Anyone above me on the list willing to share level times so I know what to focus on? Here are mine:
7.39, 8.02, 11.63, 5.48
9.83, 15.38, 8.28
14.48, 16.14 (shortcut - jump above zigzag), 16.06, 16.91
11.48, 15.08, 18.46, 10.14
3.49, 13.18, 12.73
Total time is 214.16
brubes2005 - level 42 has none of the seeing eye boxes, they are all mines. And you can click on the symbol (the yellow square, in this instance) of any box to view its instructions.
I don't understand the closer scoring at all. I know it says they'll be harder to please, but I got 100%, 100%, 100%, 99%, and he gives me 97 points. Sometimes I'll get 100%, 100%, 98%, 95%, and he'll still give me 97 points.
I happened to complete level 46 without realizing it was 46, and I clicked the menu button afterwards to see what level I was on (instead of the play button). The badge didn't register and I had to complete 46 again and press play to get it (not a huge deal, just saying).
What's the point of customizing a deck if the game doesn't use the customized deck? I set several card types to 0, start a game, and there they are in my deck. They keep popping up over and over.
Yes that is correct. The count starts at 0 for each achievement.
