Ok, just got a special weapons blitz. My defense at that moment was have major trouble and was about to collapse. 3 seconds in, Germans changed their tactics XD
Damn! two soldiers with 50+ rifle skill right off the bat! Leveled one up to rank of officer and the other to one rank below the other! Lasted to wave 80 with 334 kills and had some amazing luck because 4 V1s hit within seconds of each other and they all missed!
F. Collins, after surviving 3 V1 attacks, countless strafing runs, and 5 hand to hand engagements, was not only the last man from my original squad, but my last man left after everyone but him and my spec ops guys ran for their lives. I salute you.
Had a gunner with 81 rifle skill, 30 exp, ranked up 4 or 5 times, and in an excellent spot but those motherf***ers dropped a V1 on him. That V1 took out him, my officer, and 2 more soldiers nearby.
Umm... I paused the game for about a minute and while it was paused, a V1 rocket came and blew up beside my mg emplacements... didnt do anything, just left a crater right next to them. Freaked me out for a second.
135 turns on Hard difficulty. Jesus fuking Christ every time I invaded his island, he crushed my invasion force. That felt like trying to fight WW1 with the trenches being hexagons!!
Amazing game! Simple yet very complex in terms of possible strategies.... Feels like D-day when I make landings from the water! My suggestions for a sequel would be a larger map with more countries involved. And maybe make it to where the enemy isn't completely out for my blood from the get go. I have seen the enemy skip everything else and go straight for my capital on normal difficulty. Not hard to stop him, but it's annoying. Makes me feel like I'm playing an amateur bot. Maybe make it seem like the enemy has some intelligence? Hell, they don't even defend their own capitals!
Got to wave 100 before I ever saw a tank. Germans send 2 tanks on wave 101.... and blow them up with their own artillery when they get half way down the map. Bravo, Germans. Bravo.
2nd wave. Sdkfz 222 attacks me. I think to myself "well, it's a little early for that but alright." manage to kill the gunner. Alright, sweet. 3rd wave. ANOTHER ATTACKS ME FOLLOWED BY A PAK38. Fuk you too Germans.
