Restarted, made the jump... now I'm stuck at some zig-zag falling platforms. I would have no problem making the jumps if my screen would only stop skipping the closer I get to the moon in the background. Still does that with Low Setting, so I don't think it's the fog.
Controls are shakey, I get a bit of lag which is unusual when I play on this site. Switch to Low Quality, lag barely there but sill feel it. That last jump to the portal where you're on 1 platform and you have to fall underneath a hanging wall, and wall jump is alot of hassle to even get to that point. Could you give us a little more falling room?
Not bad, got alot less painful once I found out you can swap a coin with ANY coin on the field. I was so used to being stuck with swapping only the 'neighboring' coins in other games.
I keep wanting to see above and below my ship. It's interesting to play as a battleship than a single fighter for a change. There is no "repair ship" you have to activate the repair drones and have them fix the ship up gradually. The repair button is only for the main gun.
Awww, all the powerups wear off over time. How am I supposed to take down the stronger stuff with the starter shot? The poor satelite turrets don't last very long either.
The catapult needs a Left&Right setting. Aiming with Up&Down is a little akward.
Also, read the strategie guide. There's not much in terms of spoilers, but there's some good info there to help make the most of your resources.
Needs an autofire button. Why the heck should I get increased fire rate if I have to button mash to use it? Not only that, but it's even inconsistent when I use both hands to alternate mashing using the mouse and the z/x/spacebar. I now have a hand cramp. Fun game overall, but the last boss ruined it.
The puzzles were top notch. The overall story had a good twist, but I pretty much only read the first and last text boxes in each chapter. Thankfully chapter 2 didn't have a specific order or I'd be sunk.
I played lost campaigns first and never had a use for the orbital mines. Now that I don't have the mine field tower in 1.5, I have a newfound respect for the orbitals.
Warning, never use the grenades. The reload on that is scary. Barricade dropped and all my buddies ran for it. Fortunately, I only needed to chainsaw 3 zombies to clear that mishap. 5/5 What a rush!
Barricade message during battle (when you can't lay them down anyway), zombies scratching the barricades sound like metal on metal, skill ups without a visible stats page seems confusing (only for the gun used during skill up message or any gun?), unable to interrupt reload to use other gun, and a way to buy body armor/self-use health packs/floor traps would be a nice touch. 2/5
