Seems like a pretty good game, but the voice acting was just horrible. Storyline is pretty meh and the dialog is lackluster and gets annoying. As far as gameplay, it's nothing new, but I've always enjoyed this type of system. Honestly, I can see this having potential, but needs vastly improved upon.
Well now, I take what I said back. Randomly froze after being attacked at the same time as entering the teleport zone green thing. Can't advance at all.
On that, don't use ANY of the cubes against bosses. I'm glad to see the developer actually puts time into the game to fix bugs. I'll test the freezing bug some more, but overall seems a lot of things were fixed that I had problems with. Kudos to you mate.
...killed the last boss and then the game freezes, erasing my game. Also have fallen through the stages a few times resetting myself. On top of that, not being able to go back through a stage gets extremely annoying considering you'd wind up missing a few things. The game did have potential, but because of a few major bugs I have to give this a 2/5. Fix them and the game's deserving of at least a 4/5.
Eh, I'd rather not have a save option. It'd get abused to get a high score. Ie, start a level, see you're doing poorly, exit and reload til you get it. Just seems cheap to me to do that. The one thing that bothers me is the location of the logo. Tends to get in my way when playing. Haven't had too many problems, but they persist. Good game overall.
Honestly, I haven't seen the AI do well at all. Only time they actually start doing well is if I have my guys in open view of them. Otherwise they randomly shoot and then walk into my line of fire. Definitely needs tweaking.
So if you were on Halloween island or whatever after the event ended and don't leave, you would stay there. Definitely need to do something about that, otherwise you'll be having those "holiday rares" be received well after the event ends.
Only problem I had was the ease of the main game. Survival mode is awesome, but the campaign was a tad easy. I don't think I got below gold in anything on the first attempts. Definitely did enjoy the skill system though and survival definitely had me surviving. Great game.
Far as it being a straight up clone, I recommend you look at the numerous games out there that were based on console games. If you're going to whine about a straight up clone, I suggest you whine about all of them. There are a multitude of things similar across games such as Epic Battle Fantasy that were used and yet few complained about that one.
Well now. Now that I have seen this legendary "Thor's dildo" I have to change my review on this game. The ai of the enemies is pretty pathetic at best. I have ran across a map and sat there waiting for them to attack, only to watch them sit there. As for the furry aspect, by incorporating the "Thor's dildo" you're honestly not doing any justice to the furry community. Damage did not change despite adding points into strength, and it seems as though mellee far out does ranged. Hit percentage is a tad wonky. You need to add in better weaponry and definitely need to do something about balancing them. As it stands, this game probably should not have been released yet until most things were set up. Overall, the game can definitely be improved to work better in the long run and I can see the potential in this. 3/5 for me.
