russia, china and india together have more states in them than the usa, if you decided to split north america without including canada and mexico, asia should be treated the same

are you talking about the slow pacing of the game or actual lag? The game doesn't feature a lot of animations so, once the music loaded, I don't really see how it could lag...
You need to remember to add in the Chernobyl effect where putting the reactor in a low power mode makes it so it can't be stopped before it melts down ;D

after the last update, switching to the achievement list slows the game considerably, you should think of maybe splitting the list to tabs or to several pages
