Note that you will lose 10 points in total - 0:05 is when your tent appears, and there's 5 seconds on the clock after you hit the end button. The beginning levelling is just as important; your gatherer can collect things on the way back, and your lumberjack takes 3 hits to chop a tree at 1/1. So, lumberjack > tree > gatherer is good. Getting 2 lumberjacks and 2 gatherers early is also good, as it means they can chop trees faster and give you moneys. Whether you level the house first or get 2 lumberjacks/gatherers is up to you. Follow the rest of the tips and you'll be a'ight.
Walkthrough: "Difference" Method: 1) Compare the answer boxes to the sum. If Difference: (sum - Answer) is lower than the max number in the red circles (e.g. 9 in 1-9, 4 in 2-4, or 19 in 1-19), lock every number in that row/column that's higher than the difference. 2) At the same time, lock every number that CAN'T be combined with another unlocked number, to form the Difference. 3) Sweep each column and each row. 4) Repeat sweeps until you've locked everything you can. 5) If you're ever left with a row/column where the unlocked buttons = Difference, remove them and lock the row/column. // From here, some additional things to try if you're still stuck: A) "Construction": As an alternate perspective, look at the numbers in the row that you HAVE locked. Add them together, and figure out what you're missing in order for it to add up to the answer box. Remove any number which doesn't combine well with the others. /// + if this helps!
@Danger_Hawk: You can buy his Mardek series rework on the Android Play or on the iPhone app store; it's under the name of "Taming Dreams". The equivalent of Chapters 1 and 2 are free - the Chapter 3 rework is $3.99.
I feel that if this game had an idle game in it somewhere, it would have more addictive properties. The water refill system is also quite low in early levels, and there's not much to do if you're waiting for it to refill and your buildings to build.
I love the names of the -illions that you're using, and hope you'll update with more of the -illions! More than vigintillion! Let us go up to dodequadragintillion! (x38) (Also, some more updates to the no menu picture would be lovely.)
@Michael3710 - Have you tried buying upgrades? They triple your money output for a certain number of things. If you're having difficulty, just reset with angel investors. 300 a.i's is a 600% increase from your startup, which will help you get angel investors faster, repeat, etc. I restarted with about 40, and that playthrough I got to 1 quadrillion. Also, this is actually an idle game, so you could afk for a bit, and come back and play a little later.
Right, for endless mode - to get 2000m, the key to get there is this: You don't need your soldiers to survive. YOU need to survive. Perks used are: Fireproof spray, Armor, Medi Kit, and Salvation. The skill is the first one - Adrenaline Injection. Use it when you're low on health or the number of bullets is truly ridiculous, and rinse and repeat. It's a slow, but relatively easy, way to get to 2000m.
Fastest way to the Hard Badges: Focus on the Knight Class. High attack gets you the fastest through all enemy encounters, including the boss. Jagged Edge upgrades help a ton. When you start needing multiple levels for skill points (20 and up), switch over to Mage and Demonic and get Blood Siphon and Silence, which are key to staying alive with some bosses and the later fights. Then get Energy Shield and Regen for some more survivability. For all encounters: Beat Down (Knight) is your best friend.
For bosses, buff first, then beat them to death. Silence then normal attacks to regain MP work wonders, although you may want to MP potion to get it to work faster. Good luck, and happy badge hunting.
I'm fine with there being facebook people on the same server; it's just a little more effort to climb to the top...and isn't that what this game is about? Ascent? But the lag, bugs, and all, do make it a little harder to play. Nonetheless, I still love it. 5/5 from me, and it's in my favorites.
... Have you tried talking to the guards until they shoot at you...? It could be worth it :P
