Played it for a week solid beating everything on heroic mode. I can sincerely say this is one of the best games I've played on Kongregate. A few minor points: 1) Usability tweaks would be great, Hotkeys to open/close the quick menu, automatically pick the top menu option, and letting one cancel out of a mission with escape or something in particular. 2) A simple, plot-free survival mode Extra, just a huge randomly generated city to conquer, would be awesome, just because I've finished everything else and want more, of course. 3) My biggest single gripe is with the videos; not being able to advance the text by clicking meant watching even a single video was an exercise in tedium, I barely managed to struggle through four of them before giving up, which is a shame. Overall a fantastic game, I look forward to seeing more of your work in future.
Thanks for the feedback Kholai! I'm happy you like the game! Completely agree with your criticisms. I've had a few requests for a sandbox mode. I don't know if I can do it in this version (it's a really big change), but if I ever make a sequel, that's like first on the list. The cutscenes (ugh...) yeah, they could really use some work. Anyways, thanks for playing!
With a soldiers only force, facing a melee only enemy force, split the minimum number from your main group of soldiers and put it into the other two spots. By resting with both of these, you'll gain 40 Mana a turn, letting your main force use Reinforcement every turn, and whittle away the opposition with counter damage.
I'd go so far as to say this game would be easy, if the defensive pulse worked every time you clicked the button. As it is, the 50/50 chance of being able to use one's fully charged ability does make things more difficult, but not in a good way.
Honestly I found much better results in giving Lance my cake. With the Red Jacket, Bandana and Vortex Cannon, and he's at +135% Magic Attack, something Nats can't top unless she wields Hela's staff, which constantly debuffs her. Lance also has pretty much the best Bomb, Lightning, Fire, Poison and Dark spells, with Wind, Water and Holy specials to round him out into the best overall offensive spellcaster.
Encouraging people to rush through your game is encouraging them to be finished with your game sooner. Alas I disliked the mechanic so, it prevented me from enjoying the rest of the game as much.
S-rank boss missed three in every four attacks against me, and half of those were blocked 0 damage. Nothing can withstand Doombringer Blast spam. Decent game, a little on the slow side, and would have enjoyed a bit more variety in attack types - All A rank bodies have a Red attack, all B rank yellow, and so on, which in turn means I need to cover the other two elements with my arms. Perhaps there could have been a bonus to having the same attack type with two parts? Perhaps legs could actually do something, along with arms that did nothing except carry a shield, and thus block?
Just FYI:Having absolutely no magic attack+ whatsoever appears to mean you never attack with spells. A nice improvement in the series overall, though I sort of miss the Princess Makeresque work animations.

This may be an unpopular statement, but Creeper World is rife with the option to create your own difficulty/fun without needing defined difficulties. If you're bored or finding it easy, just restrict your usable units yourself, or give the creeper a minute's head start until it's fun again. I don't remember the last map I played "fair".
Flight of the Bumblebees: Shadowbuild, but use only mortars in a level, but build thirty Blasters out of range of any creep. When they're all fully charged, drop six next to each emitter and try to get to the totems before they run out of ammo.
I just love how walking around in a disguise is infinitely more awkward and annoying than it would be to just use the same stealth methods as usual to get through it. Who else thinks they could have pistol'd and neck snapped their way through level 8 without a hitch?
Couldn't be bothered to play a shadowbuild for the 11th, played Blasters, Reactors and Relays only. It's nice that we have such leeway on viable game strategies.
Having to open the kongregate prompt every time, even if I just want to go with the default is rather trying. Why not have default be there by default, and then let me choose if I want to load a flight?
I wanted to encourage people to load other's flights, instead of using the default. The defaults are only there in case there is no flight available. But I guess it is a bit of a hassle, and I could change it, but I don't know if that's the best idea.
