Needs much, much faster progress. Floor 14 is a hard wall, and grinding from 60 to 100 with no more skill points or heroes, and very small progress from level to level, looks pretty miserable.
Todays update should improve on this! Leveling is faster, and floors scale a bit slower. Allowing you to get to another unlock on prestige as well as getting to prestige quite a bit faster
Got to the bandit phase, had hired 5 trolls, but the first wave of 250 bandits apparently killed everyone in my mine and made me start over. Now my foremen take stone away instead of make it.
Did you put trolls to build walls? Bandit phase is just now only a sum playa. Walls - Bandit Force. If you lose, rob the treasures and you get kicked by the king (not scene yet) Before disaster happens, you can jubile and get a push in the next game. I have to explain it before. Sorry cause i know is a nasty surprise... I have disabled destruction option, and now bandits only steal treasures still i explain better the situation.
Only two bugs that I see. First, when the Goblin describes the rock, he just says "It may seem ." Second, the ending where you don't break the artifact jumps to credits automatically without waiting for a key press.
This new update appears to have nerfed toughness, which is the opposite of what everyone was asking for. Previously, each jump lasted under 2 seconds at QT4, but now they're under 1 second.
I didn't modify how much damage you take or how much toughness you have. Not intentionally anyways. I looked over toughness calculation but I don't see any problems with it. I'll check some other things too, but as far as I can tell toughness shouldn't be changed. (Except for the fact that there's some new upgrades that will boost it.)
Hi! Thanks for the feedback.
It's true that you'll get less XP for less time in the air, but in testing I found that since the jumps were shorter, I was doing more jumps, and therefore ended up with pretty much the same XP income.
Still, I appreciate your input and I will look into it again when I have time to do some more balance testing.
Very buggy. One game gave me nothing but low level enemies (1-3) and kept on spawning saw swords. I was invincible. Opened up all the doors (8x3), the last row was off center, and any further doors just flipped over a card on the last row.
Alright, stalled out at level 5. With some balancing, this game could be great. Shop increases need to be larger, considering how much they cost. Gold keys should drop more frequently.
Upgrading to the weapon shop is a money loser, even discounting coal cost. 64 iron bars > 8 steel bars > 1 weapon > 200 money. 64 iron bars > 8 bicycles > 400 money. Is this intended?
Ravensvoice is correct, purple and orange dice are bugged. Purchasing purple dice increases the internal cost of orange dice, but the display doesn't change. Large numbers of purple dice can be bought cheaply, which breaks the game.
Industrial buildings just give resources once, and commercial buildings only take resources once. Not sure if that's intended. You end up building enough farms to sustain your residential (1 per 10 or so), and 1 industrial for every 10 commercial.
Gibson, you need to find the upgrade that allows you to shoot fire. Think it's in the middle right, past the first boss. Great game, but it messes up at the end. Like kickhi said, beat the boss and nothing happened.
The rocket moves the way it does because of simple programming. It has a cone-shaped FOV. If there's a box in the FOV, it moves forward. If not, it turns clockwise. That results in the rocket circling the edges clockwise once there are a lot of boxes on screen. It will never turn in to the middle.
Hi there KidA1515, Thanks for your comment! There will be more ways to collect boxes in future updates, this will mean the ROCKET's simple programming will be less of a hindrance to the collection of moondust.
To give scrolls: Talk to the scroll guy, then look at the scroll next to him. Right arrow cycles through the scrolls you have found. They just look like little stories, not sure if there's any other point to collecting them. You can buy 1 heart for 100 treasure from the merchant. Not sure what else there is in this game, though.
Is there supposed to be an alternate ending? I solved the core mystery, but it felt like there were some loose ends. The dead body, the knife, one of the books, and all the red dots?
Game froze on me in Chrome and I had to restart. It lost my save. Other than that, an obvious quality of life improvement would be to have a toggle that filters out all the elements that no longer have uses.
