The only thing I didn't like is that the endgame is really stale. It is essentially a race to get to the final tile as fast as possible by killing the orb things and then playing that final tile over and over getting the loot from your kills until you are able to complete it, and then you just do that again since there is no more content.//I think it would be better to have it so each of the tiles get split up and they all drop different types of gear or something along those lines.
Maybe instead of only getting time added for offline boost you could have time added for every second the boost is turned off while gaining it at the same rate as you currently gain it offline. This would alleviate some of the complaints about how slowly you gain boost and wouldn't really effect the game too much.
Otherwise either:
1) remove the boost all together and make the game faster
2) drastically change how fast you gain offline boost timer
3) quit while your ahead
So apparently if you call out a game for being a carbon copy of another game it gets downvoted to hell so it doesn't show up.. I am not kidding. Go play Pixel Dungeon. Its the exact same game.
I think people are downvoting you because pixel dungeon and this game are both classically inspired roguelikes which is a well established genre with many conventions. Neither pixel dungeon (or this game) invented these mechanics. Google roguelike or check out Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, ADOM, TOME4, NetHack or Angband. These ideas have been around since the early 80s with the original game Rogue.
@gianjefferson5 If I am not mistaken you can Export the save file and Import it later. I don't think you will get offline progress doing this (Not sure how it tracks the clock) but if you are worried about losing your save you can always email the export to yourself for later use.
Thought you should know, there is someone coming back every few hours who is downvoting every single 'most recent' comment. Odds are this will be downvoted as well, but still its something you should be aware of.
Its strait up impossible to get the 'Experienced Mercenary' quest done once you have all your raiders. I have been letting them farm for every 10 hours and he hasn't gotten a single kill.
What am I suppose to do with my gold? I Have only reset the game 1 time to get my 3 preferred Raider Upgrades. I haven't even gotten past the 15th Farm map yet. I can't yet complete the 5th Raid. Yet it seems as if I have infinite gold. I feel like maybe I should have some sort of blacksmith at this point but I don't (I remember the armorer guy from the first game). There is just no gold sink and it makes the gold rewards from the farm maps extremely pointless and feel less like a reward and more like a punishment for forcing your raiders to push through farm maps that they can BARELY complete just for a reward that isn't worth it.
The manual Save function doesn't seem to be working for me at all. The auto save works just fine but every time I manually save after doing something (for example rearranging my village) and then refresh my browser it reverts to before the save. If I wait until an autosave and do the same thing it keeps it.
I have reached a point where I honestly can't progress in the game because I lag too much once I have around 4-6Billion God Cells. And the only other way for me to progress is to leave my PC on for more than a month strait.. which I do not want to do.
I would love to have some sort of standalone download or something to possibly reduce some of this lag.
The tiles have a really hard time updating when you are trying to do real time adjustments to them. Sometimes they just sit there doing the wrong command for like 8 or 9 beats which can really screw with some of the things I am trying to do :/
There are certain combinations that are physically impossible to get around, most notable on Difficulty 10 where 2 bars spawn within 3 blocks of each other going the same direction but the gaps are all the way across the field.
There seriously needs to be an ingame way of finding out what drops what and where, Not the drop rates, but knowing where things drop is pretty important and being forced to scour the reddit in hopes of MAYBE finding the correct information just isn't sufficient.
