I mean.. Ok I guess.. But you only ever need to use the Basic Tower and Bombs... Everything else is useless and may as well just be taken out of the game.
You got a ton of end pieces and bombs at the start but the further you go you get less and less to the point where I honestly do not get bombs any more and I only get an end piece every 5-10 pieces. Why are we getting bombs at the very start when we don't need them? Even if we mess up that early on it doesn't matter, but later we need bombs, not because we messed up but because we are getting flooded. Also STARTING with a bomb or two is just bad design. The player has no pieces on the board yet, what could they possibly need to use a bomb for?
I mean its a nice game and all, but there is no way to keep going on past a certain point because you start getting flooded with all the crosses. The biggest appeal of drop based games is that, given enough thought the player could potentially go on forever OR hit some goal where the game ends.
Great game, loved the menu. It took me a while to notice the boss room though, maybe have something over there that catches the players eye? Also towards the end you just spam the player with the giant red enemies which (at least of me) is a lot easier than dealing with mutliple types of enemies at once. Also the camera can get a bit annoying when you are moving around a lot.
Found a bug. if you get a Superman rite before you fall into the water with a Lifesaver it gives you the speed boosts, uses a lifesaver, and you don't get to fly, essentially just making it harder until the buff runs out.
Neat game, though somehow I only ever hit 1's and 0's on the golden ax guys. One suggestion would be to allow the player to see their previous characters in the gear they died in. Maybe at a cemetery screen or something so we can see their names :)
It would be nice if my paddle actually affected the ball based on where it hit the paddle, instead it seems to just shoot strait off of the wall, I want to be able to force the ball to miss the center all together.
when the Elf gets their skill its really messes with the card draws until you buy something to go in that slot. It took me 3 games to figure out why I was constantly being flooded with movement. (Elf Mage)
Glad you figured it out. And yah that's a bit of a bummer when it happens, but there are some sweet elf skills to find!
