rpg? bitchin! not multiplayer? hell yea, finally! *gets in game* huh not bad... wait WTF, buy gold? The hell? Premium keys? Fek off mate, you ruined a good thing.
Some of the +monsters past floor 15 are practically unkillable with how much dodge they have. I was fighting a minotaur+ (from an orb room) and one out of maybe 30 hits would actually deal damage. Before that, I was fighting a monster room full of + monsters and it took me maybe 20 minutes to clear the thing out.
Also, does having more affinity in an element make their spells stronger? It's really hard to tell. To be honest, it's hard to tell just what each stat does to improve damage.
And lastly, do infinite buffs get stronger? Do you have to recast them to receive extra benefits?
There needs to be something to prevent mobs from spawning within sight radius of the portal. I got completely clusterf!cked without even having the chance to move on my most recent run. Completely ran out of stamina and health before I could even get myself safe. At the very least have the stairs spawn in or near a corner so I'm only fighting back baddies from 2 sides instead of 3 or 4. It's literally impossible to hold some of these starting locations, and even more impossible to run away. Losing a run because of pure RNG is just a joke. A really bad joke.
Also, are there any plans for an encyclopedia? Baring that, when a class is discovered let us see what the requirements are to unlock it again the next run. I can understand (but still hate) having no bonuses carried over from your last character... but you can at least let discoveries be persistent.
Class discovery should come once maxed (like spell school). Without stress situation like bad entries, potions are almost useless. I've already reduce the occurrences of wide area in cave and swamp, I'll look about it again
I.... I maxed everything in an idle game... In a manner of hours... I don't know how I feel about this. Also, You should definitely add a research to enable diamond upgrades and then have upgrades part 2 begin.
Just thought I'd point out a small oversight you may have missed: In the (4th) solar system, there were 2 stations, one with a very high station cost, and one with a very low station cost (i think .6 and 1.1) both of these stations carried the same material in the trade goods, and it just so happened that I could make ~100k a trip once I got my gear in order. Suffices to say the rest of the game was rendered quite easy for me.
ive recently added the galaxy options which control the base spread of station prices, so know you control how much or little you can earn from trading and how fast.
Just thought I'd leave another tip: Bows are far superior to swords. This is due to the fact that upgrading AGI can easily bring you to 100$ crit rate. One this threshold is reached, and a bow is equipped, every increase to AGI is roughly a 5.5% increase to damage. Get the frozen epic set, on a vampire, and then you're basically invincible.
Oh, something I just thought of, would it be possible to add in an effect "50% chance to pull far away enemies towards you on kill"? The only hole in my build is the fact that I have to run around in order to pick off stragglers.
@TheLowerLight There's the Robot that's an INT hero, and then gravedigger is int/agi. Also, certain weapons(starsword) scale better with AGI then they do STR because of high natural crit rates. Put a starsword onto gravedigger then get 125 AGI and you have perma crits that constantly ramp up the damage.
Get an item that gives you SP per crit and put the previous combo onto the robot then you have yourself an infinitely spammable mob clearing spell, that also renders you effectively immortal.
OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THIS GAME! This game was sooo much fun the last time I played it... but because of my stinking memory I remember all the twists :(... It's funny though, seeing Johnny is what triggered it.
I am able to have 30 shots on the screen, the only time I hit this cap is when I fire and my shots are unable to reach their target. Perhaps an upgrade to buy multiple cannons?
Can you write up a list of hidden moves? I've been scouring the game for them, and how to activate them, but so far I've only found an 11th hit that I'm guessing has something to do with crits.
What the hell happened Ninjakiwi, you used to give us beautiful works that a player could have fun with for hours. Now you give us this second rate CRAP that offers no enjoyment at all. What happened back in HQ? Who decided that you were going to go from a top class design studio to a money grubbing trash factory? This game is literally balanced towards people putting large amounts of money into it. If you really want to get in the business of selling games then make an full game instead of the casual time sinks we've come to know and love you by. I wouldn't put anything more then loose change into a game like this, the replay value and ability to hold interest just isn't there. There's no storyline to get lost in, there's no interesting characters to fall in line behind. If I ever did put money into it that wouldn't make me want to play the game anymore outside of a vain attempt to get my moneys worth.
