Autosaves every 2,400 seconds... every 40 MINUTES. You might as well not even have an autosave feature at all because you'll be most likely manually saving more often than that. At least make it 600 seconds, or 10 minutes for pete's sake. Even if you play for half an hour and forget to save before leaving, say goodbye to your progress. I don't really have any complaint about the game other than that, it's addicting and funny at times, if not a bit "Cheesy" *Flashback to cave of many things* But other than the autosave, it's all good. 4/5
There is a local autosave that fires off every 10 seconds silently in the background which does the job... well, most of the time. The online autosave save is more like an automated backup.
PS: YOU SHOULD STILL MAKE FILE SAVE BACKUPS MANUALLY EACH NIGHT YES I'M BEING YOUR INTERNET MOTHER AND NAGGING YOU.
Got to level 89, at this stage the lag becomes unbearable, plus going into the level with only 2 hp and no shield told me to just quit at that point. My best advice for early rounds is to play chicken, late rounds just throw yourself at the lowest branch, because once you destroy that, you destroy 98% of it's firepower, and 100% of it's threat. Shield and 5 hp is the best late stage, lets you take the hits to get in there and take it down fast. Get damage +1 as much as you can early game, whenever possible. It helps tremendously when the lowest branches start taking more than 1 hit to destroy. And at 89, it takes 5 hits despite my early game damage focus. 5/5, fun thing to waste time on if you aren't doing anything.
I have enough for the Plasma Vision, but for some reason it won't let me buy it. (Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/irwi3v) No where does it say that I have do to something to unlock it, not even on the wiki. The same happens for my arm weapons, the level 3 Plasma Whip. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but it's annoying in mid-level when I try to buy it and it doesn't let me.
"You are not the first to seek our help and will not be the first to fail." ... Well, yeah. Because I'm not the first to seek your help. Perhaps "Last" would be more fitting there.
The Tangerine Exchange is an investment you just don't want to cash in on. Selling high, then buying low without spending any of it. Watching it grow exponentially, doubling or even tripling every transaction. Truly a wonderful feature. With it, the game will never slow down.
Uhhh, weird glitch? http://prntscr.com/g0bjks I've played this game before, but for some reason when I started it up this time, this comes up. Nothing is clickable, and I guess the "Task" is completed.. What an odd bug.
qmm1212, in the options... Where usually sound controls are located. Click the arrows on the left and right of the options menu to go through the different pages.
Confusion has to be about the strongest spell, it's super effective against just about everything. That, added with high DPS per turn and you'll be blazing through stages.
"The ad was abandoned. :(" Maybe it wouldn't be if it'd stop sending me to broken ads, or links to websites with no reward. The only ad that actually worked was the spellstone one. Also, @Rarylith, that's the ads that are refreshing like that, if you get adblock it removes the problem. One of the issues when a website refreshes ads every 30 seconds..
Do not do the quests that increase a crafting skill until 'after' reaching the 1000 cap. Why? Because it adds 50-80-100, regardless. At the moment I have 1100 Alchemy, above the 1000 cap because I done a quest that enhanced alchemy after I reached the cap.. So you could literally get close to 100% chance on even the hardest recipes if you save all of them until after you reach the caps.
Seems my game can't be saved. Just tried creating a new character twice, even returning to the main menu before closing out the browser. When I get back on, the save file is gone. Trying to figure out the issue, but seeing how Arkandian Crusade saves fine for me, I don't have a clue.
Started a fight with 60 HP against an enemy with 40 HP. My highest hit rate was 87%, with theirs being 46%. Yet after 11 rounds in our fight, they only missed twice, and I missed 6 times. I died.. to a statistically weaker enemy that shouldn't have been able to kill me. Fair hit chance, my arse. Still rated 5/5, though. The game is great, even if the dice chance is tilted.
@Haplo1967, You gotta beat Normal Mode before you unlock Heroic Mode as a choice. If you have already done so, then I am unsure on what the problem is.
MP and HP per hit is probably the best bonus to accessory items. MP especially, seeing how it gives you the ability to spam special attacks with no loss of MP.
"In the sparring ground you can be attacked by anybody, but luckily if you die no money will be taken away." So I go in and try it out. I die. And I lost half my money. It even says "You were killed by another player and lost half your money" Good lord Developers, fix your crap.
Do not use a furniture hammer if you are not near any furniture, as there is no way to cancel out of it.. I literally hit every key and it didn't help. I left the dungeon, and headed back in.. It didn't help. I left the dungeon, sold the hammer, and headed back in.. It didn't help. I went back to Main freaken Menu, and loaded my game again. I headed back in the dungeon.. it didn't help. it still says "Select which furniture to steal" Good lord, I didn't even mean to click it, and it completely broke because of that. You can't move in a dungeon when it is asking you to select furniture.
