@FlowerSong, yeah. Story wise and depth wise, this game is scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Like, the thick, dark, viscous liquid stuck to the bottom that no matter how hard you scrub at it never seems to come fully off? Yeah, that. Gameplay wise.. It's okay. I'm personally only here for the fighting/leveling part of the game, which is fun in it's own way.
I wonder if it's even possible to win the very first mission. If you notice when you shoot the boss ship, it's health does indeed go down ever so slightly. Could someone with enough Bullet Hell experience take a crack at seeing what happens if you deplete it's health bar? Something interesting might happen, who knows? Or, you know, not.
@gigaboum. You would have made 19.44 Quadrillion in 60 hours at 90 billion per second.. I understand your complaint, but what you used to base it on is horribly flawed.
@warranty void. Actually, the current set up makes lower level minions have a better chance. I mean, it gives 4X per 25 levels. By the time it reaches 100 levels, that's a total of 256X from 100 levels ago, much higher than the 10X of Clicker Heroes. Not sure how you came to the conclusion that the boost is lower on here than Clicker Heroes, but I'll just guess it was misinterpretation of the leveling system.
@Cylibus, gotta get those weapons with enchantments. Preferably Mysterious (WEAPON NAME) of Death. That, with a few other enchantments to boost HP, and you'll be a walking one hit wonder. ;)
Whenever I try to connect and play, it always gets stuck on the "Logging in" phase. Then says "Error" "You have been disconnected" If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, that'd be mighty helpful. Using Google Chrome on a Windows 7 Home Premium. 3GB Ram. 64-bit Operating System. 2 GHz Processor.
There seems to be a massive memory leak in the game. Random and frequent lag spikes, freezing, bugging the page causing it to refresh rapidly over the course of a few seconds, etc. It seems this game has not been refined, at least in the programming department. 4/5, seems like an awesome game of what I can play, but otherwise the lag issues kill it.
"Connecting Server..." "Loading Core Data..." Annnd~.. Nothing, it just keeps loading Core Data. Been 10 minutes so far, and I know it shouldn't take this long. But, just for some clarification, how long does it normally take to load for the first time? Because if I'm just bugged, I don't want to waste my time for nothing..
"Waiting time for what specifically?" Says the dev, like it isn't obvious. XD Well, I don't have much of a problem with it, but that's only because I really like the other features of the game. They're talking about the crafting/repairing times overall. I mean, at least have it balanced. If you have the crafting/repairing time accurate to real life, then other stuff has to be accurate as well. You can't half ass it. For instance, how long it takes to mine and chop down trees, or shovel dirt. Those should take at least an hour to do realistically, and not a few seconds. Now, I don't 'want' you to increase those times, but just letting you know of a contradiction in the logic of the game. Balance, either super fast for all, or super slow for all, no half-half. Still rated 5/5, though..
Okay, I've been trying to play this game for awhile, but I can't take it anymore. The LAG. You need to fix that above all else. No! Don't work on new content! Fix the problems first! Because when I am stuck in a pool for 5 minutes, because some freakin' invisible monsters are attacking me for '0' damage, there's a problem. Especially when the pool was empty! What the hell, man?! I even went afk on a platform where NO monsters spawn, came back to find myself in some random pit where I was supposedly pushed into by monsters. How is that even possible?! Don't get me wrong, the game is fantastic, I rate it 4/5 even with the problems. But when I can't progress because of it? Well.. I'll just quit.
Also, @Arachnidjds: I tried your strategy. It's not as efficient as Losh's idea for money, not even close. At least for the later levels. So no, it's not bullshit, and your strategy is not way more efficient. So don't be so conceited.
@Arachnidjds. Actually, LoshZmei's strategy works for the later waves, like 30 and 40. Just take away all the points in Health and Defense, dump the points into how much money you get (99 currently) and let them kill you. It's fairly swift, and shouldn't take more than a few seconds for them to succeed. After that, just click through the upgrades and shop, click the highest wave you can, and repeat. I make almost 2K per death (1,992 I think) And with how quickly I can breeze past the menu's to start the wave again, I seem to be making money much faster than just playing the game. Only downside is that I don't get exp, so I usually just put myself in a corner, and shoot a few times across the map. Still get killed quickly, but I also catch a few EXP's while I get killed. It's not a bad strategy for money..
@rhibread, if you honestly think this is grindy, then you must not have played many RPG's in your day. Seriously, it took me a little under an hour to beat the desert boss from the start of the game. And if the battles take awhile? You need to develop better strategies. I'm currently winning fights in one turn because I am attacking their weaknesses, it really isn't that hard if you think about it. I rated the game 5/5, the dialog is hilarious, and overall game mechanics work. Only thing I will say is that the game is slightly buggy when walking around, as in; if the game lags when you are walking against a wall, you'll teleport inside the wall a decent distance. No getting out of that, which forces you to load your save from who knows how far back. Other than that, keep it up! We need more games like this.
What the heck happened to my name? It was Chara, but now it says 'Chffffaarass'. Its so weird.. It happened when I left the Gremlin Tribe, I think I accidentally hit space twice, because I appeared in the Savage Lands, but instead of spiders, the orcs at the entrance of the tribe was there. Next thing you know, my name has gained 4 F's, 2 S's, and an A. I don't notice anything else yet, but I hope it only affected the name..
"+31 snowballs" Oh cool! I can get a bit farther with that! *Has 9* Okay, who took my snowballs?! But, something does seem buggy with that, I wonder if it only counts 1 expedition each every time you get off for an extended period of time. Or, it really is a bug. Either way, at this rate, I won't meet Santa. :(
Can't play, extremely laggy, and judging that this is the start of the game without hundreds of calculations per second, and that the graphics are retro, there shouldn't be any lag on my computer. 3/5 until I can try it out, somethings up with that lag.. Programming error?
Pretty fun game, super powerful final boss. Just as a heads up, he has over 9,000,000 HP, and does 500 damage average per hit. At least, that's what he does on easy, I don't even want to know what he has in store for whoever reaches him in hard. XD
