how does the circle powerup work? it's never explained, i beat the first level with it by killing an enemy i think, but now i'm stuck on 28. please put this information under Instructions.
for those of you who are as bad as me and can't get the badge with the auto shotgun, i beat it with the FN SCAR (assault rifle). it has a reload time of .4 seconds so you can just hold down the button and not worry about anything. plus, it's cheaper, so you can spend your money on increased health for you and your base, which helps a LOT when you're looking to survive longer.
at first it took me a half hour to kill the last group of bosses, but then i realized the wonders of the poison status. it deals damage based on a percentage of any unit's max life, so it kills bosses very quickly. you can buy cheap poisoning throwing items in the store, and the "hard" difficulty's hero comes with a poison spell. note that you can't poison and freeze a unit at the same time, but you CAN poison and "stop" them at the same time. if you're having real trouble on defense though, buy a freeze weapon from the store instead. it completely stops any enemy from attacking and moving, while the "stop" status just prevents them from moving.
there are many builds which are viable to get the hard badge, and i've seen many posted. the key things in each of them are to get at least one mana regen skill (if you go ice/divine you can get both) and at least one movement speed skill (many builds can get two, if you stretch you can get all three). the rest is all strategy. make a note that the only enemy which will be damaging you is the ranged casters, and build accordingly. stay at the top of the screen for as long as you can, to target the mages before the grunts get in front. ignore the bats, there will always be more. armageddon and blizzard become much more efficient than fireball and icebolt once there are tons of enemies on the screen. and always save mana for healing. i got over 600 with my original terrible build just using this strategy, even though it was much easier on my ice/divine.
needs a "put all units at the spot closest to enemy base, speed up even more, and autocontinue" button, for when you have everything set up, and you just want to win.
did you really need a penalty for losing 3 times? it's kind of nonsense. i want to try different builds and not be penalized for it. it's not a real war, it's a game.
i beat the falcon much more easily by free falling, falconing, then W'ing just above the water like cryzer said, THEN pressing Q and using all of my stamina, then going back to W. it keeps you going 70 for a much longer time.
the most damaging and least expensive weapons are guns, so get those first, along with one speed panel, which lets you catch things easier than one magnet. however, later on, you can beat the entire level without having to move, by using 8 missiles and 4 magnets.
please put a quality option for the graphics. this game runs ridiculously slowly on my laptop, and i dont really need to see the fibers of his silk shirt in such detail, lol.
how do skeletons work? it seems that they get better with higher intellect, from normal, to frost, to fire, to tribal, but the tribal one is worse than the fire one, and it doesn't seem to increase after that. and that makes the spell useless, if it caps at ~25 intellect.
you need to be able to get more than one title at once. playing this game for 2 hours for each of the higher-tier titles would be way boring. i usually kill myself at a certain point just because i know i'm only going to get one title anyway, so may as well get the one i'm currently at. i would feel like my runs meant a lot more if you could get more than one title at once.
