People here need to look at this with a grain of salt. 90 percent of the recently released games on Kong are all idle or grinding games. This is a good launcher game that does plenty to change up the passe over a few hours. Bison 3 has lot of content, especially compared to bison 1 and 2.
great job! i just wish the game had a different environmental feeling than motherload. the game play is different enough but the world isnt. i can definitely appreciate how each hull and drill etc has a different and almost equal use.
Wall of text ahead, TL:DR, good, but with a lot to make better. this is no "upgrade complete".
This is a solid, respectable base. the mechanics are fine, they work, but they're not very fun. Both the block comboing mechanic and the shooter mechanic are done, but they are feature incomplete.
the art is placeholder art at best. its cute but its sloppy. strange critters on a blue background also doesn't go along with the whole space feeling that the intro cinematic gave out.
i have no idea what the power up blocks do. there's a plus block, a line block and others, but i have no idea what they do and don't know where to look, or if there is even a place to find out. a "help" menu would be great.
the upgrade menu items are all sensible, although i would like to see just how much each upgrade goes. you already have a pop up when we hover over the Survival menu, why not put one here as well?
This game is on its way, there's a lot to improve, but there is a really solid base.
im not very far in, but as someone who put a LOT of time into idle games, this is by far my favorite. the upgrades all feel good, the music, OH THE MUSIC! and best of all, S.T.E.V.E. and max are funny as heck! i laughed at this in ways i never did with Cooke clicker. 5/5!
HA!! Thank you. I have to tell you right this second I am standing on the shoulders of GIANTS. There is no way I could have done this game without Cookie Clicker or Candy Clicker or any of those games. They paved the way and allowed me a chance to do my own version. Thank you for checking this out and commenting. It's inspiring to hear from the gang here and know people had some fun. That's what games are for, right? Thanks again and take care! Best, -Tim
this definitely deserves an expansion or a sequel. i suggest some sort of Galaga style upgrade system, if you decide to go with an upgrade tree. you could give the fungal an amount of health based on color and use explosive weapons or a constant laser as some other trees. also, making it so that the spore, the white guys, do not go strait after you on there first run would be very helpful.
Thanks :D
