Honestly, I don't really like this game much. Granted, its original, and was made in under 48 hours, but I've definitely seen far better then this. Its main failing is that it's mostly grind centred- most minions take a lot of hits to kill, and though they may be easy enough to kill their methods of attack make the process of killing them slow and dull. The transitions can also be slightly buggy if you're just on the edge, and though I don't usually mind that, the fact that some minions are literally right next to the edge makes the constant in-out very hard to judge. I like the idea of the game, but it just isn't very fun, at least in my view. 3/5.

Also, feel free to think about other stuff when you've got that in the bag. It's easier if you don't think about it. I completed the hard badge in a daydream about Minecraft.

Don't be afraid to destroy some of your work- just keep an eye on all loose ends in completed areas and join them up ASAP. Sometimes it may be good to put a second loose end in with the first, as it can allow you to join them up with ease. Also, never ignore a loose end in your completed areas. It will get more difficult to remove as time wears on, as you complete more and more of it incorrectly, and if you forget it entirely you may have to resort to a game of "Hunt the end" once almost everything else is completed.

I loved this game! The graphics style suited it very well, despite its simplicity, and the game mechanics were great and very original. It reminds me a lot of shift, though I'm actually OK at this one. I love how you've managed to add difficulty without the addition of spikes, time limits or enemies, and that just makes this game so much more enjoyable. A rare 5/5 for you, and possibly a favourite.

@Atomic try buying something. It'll drop as if you built it, then once you've placed the weapon just pick it up again then it'll sell. Worked for me anyway.

That moment when you cheer out loud when you get enough money to buy something (of your choice) then look around and realise you don't need any of them. Seriously, I've went with buying the +waiting stuff rather then the upgrades because I don't need the upgrades.

I liked this game, and it is quite interesting and fun at first. However, I don't like how the difficulty of ships increases over the days passed (or maybe it gets harder the better your ship, I'm not sure). Some people do enjoy that, and I respect that, but I personally like this style of game better when it's more laid back. To put it simply, I'd prefer it if you merely encountered more difficult ships in more dangerous areas, with possibly the occasional stray death trap. You might say that this makes it too easy, but it honestly isn't. Take caravaneer, for instance. The first few towns are easy, but as you get further away it ramps up in difficulty. Admittedly that is a permadeath game, and I don't suggest you make this one, but the upgrade to live idea doesn't really work, at least in my view. The days definitely should stay, as that could make some more competitive gamers have something to race over, but I'd just recommend you remove the increasing difficulty of ships. 4/5

A description of the uses of different attacks used to be in best comments, but it appears to have dropped out of view. Summarised, the sail reduces the AP of the opponent, making it harder to shoot (completely removing an opponents shooting ability will make them surrender to you), shooting the hull deals huge damage and shooting the crew reduces the likelihood of a successful boarding (boarding a ship successfully instantly defeats it).

This game is OK, with fair controls and with controlled battles, despite all that's going on with them. My main problem with this is the difficulty. The early stages are very easy, and then you're suddenly given the bosses. These bosses have masses of HP and deal huge damage, and are very hard to kill. Screw up once and you're doomed. This makes the game generally not very fun, and kind of removes any real sense of progress. After completing all previous levels with ease, fighting a boss you can barely even get down to 3/4 health is extremely annoying and makes the game quite infuriating. I realise a lot of you can defeat the bosses, but as many people (including me) are slaughtering everything but the bosses with ease and are being utterly dominated by the boss, well, that's a problem. For that I probably would give a 2/5, but due to some of the more successful mechanics of the game, I'm putting that up to a 3/5.

It's amazing how different the required skills for MD2 is to MD1. I'm 2nd in the all-time leaderboards for humans eaten in MD1 but can't even get the medium badge here in MD2.

This game isn't extremely original, and I don't find it particularly fun. The biggest problems I've had with it are being unable to move while using space to kill a boss, and the lack of a backspace. I feel that pressing a wrong key should merely make you lose a life, as I constantly find myself getting mixed up between my and the bosses speech bubbles and thus pressing the wrong button. Meanwhile I had already lost all but one of my lives to minions below, being unable to dodge them, the boss comes alive and slaughters me. Aside from that, the game is all fluid, it all works nicely, but I just can't get into it. I'm sorry, but this game so far has been far from fun. 2/5.
