@starrise if you curl into a ball when hitting them instead of being in rocket form they act like a spring and shoot you upwards (and don't slow you down).

@The_Geek 1/5 for a tiny bug that I personally never noticed? Sheesh, harsh much? @Xtremu Try using the fish on weaker opponents, and remember to use your skills in effective manners. I got the hard badge fairly easily without bug exploitation. Bear in mind the different AI's of the units. @Pk this goes for all classes (and all abilities). The more intellect, the stronger your abilities are. @FILON I don't think you can. It shouldn't matter though.

Tried to press the button in spawn, but whacked my keyboard, knocked the mouse off in an attempt to grab my keyboard again, bent down to pick up my mouse, the keyboard which was teetering on the edge of my desk fell off and landed on my foot, I went left to try and grab it, accidentally hit my head on the desk, grabbed my keyboard in anger and accidentally closed google chrome and fell off the chair... I swear to god that's only happened once to me so far... This game is murderous.

Why is the medium badge not impossible? I mean, if this is only level 2, and level 1 was just as long... I am decidedly not looking forwards to level 30...

I spend ages and almost die getting some really great high tier items, then give them out free and people just grab them and walk off. Excuse me? Do you mind saying thanks, or is that too good for you? Ugh...

@Noxxic Careful with liches and ents. If they're already aggressive, then that means someone else attacked them and failed to kill them, so they might be pretty strong. Liches and ents are both invulnerable for a bit when first attacked, but they'll count the damage you deal to it and will become a difficulty it thinks you can handle (with huge difficulty in the later levels). Obviously they get better loot the harder they are. For a nice, easy lich, hunt for an unprovoked one and attack it once then hide until it releases minions. Same goes for ents but your cue to attack is when it says "YOU WILL DIE"

This game seems to excel nowhere- the graphics are indisputably horrible, the battle system is unoriginal and unsatisfying and the dungeon exploration system is simplistic and dull. The items seem to have little variety- whatever I get, it always comes down to mauling at the enemy with my strongest weapon. There seems to be no difference between bows and staffs during dungeon based fights, and during tactical ones they don't seem to serve much of a purpose. The amount of resting you have to do in between swings during tactical fights is frankly ridiculous, as for every swing, which will very often miss and makes the battles long and extremely unsatisfying. I find that winning a battle is like winning bingo- it all plays out in front of you, you're ticking off your little marks and is completely divorced from any skill. The story is unoriginal and overused, and while has some attempts at humor these were all half-hearted and very few. Overall, I give this game a 2/5.

Attack- 80% chance... misses 6 times in a row... seriously this is why I hate that style of attack. PEOPLE MAKE SOMETHING AFFECTED BY SKILL FOR ONCE, INSTEAD OF JUST MAKING A RANDOMISED ATTACK SYSTEM.

Grinders: Grinders are one of the most dangerous, as its hard to get better at not getting killed by one. Its simple avoidance, but they're huge, they aim at you and they're fast enough to kill you if you take an unnessacary swing. You can only kill one by either luring one into a pool of meltie acid or letting two bash together, in which event they will become covered in lava. Now you can hit them with no negative repercussions (as long as you take the precautions to not be crushed). 5 hits and there is a sweet looking 100 points for you.

Now for Fuzzles: Fuzzles are like the elite version of a biter. Luckily they're not very common, but they require 3 hits to kill, heal and also have a much more controlled lunge. Treat one like a strong biter, and if you manage to remove one's hair either chase it out or kill it before it heals.Sharps: Seemingly invincible at first, they're actually fairly easy if you know what to do. Sharps bounce quite a lot from a whack from your blade, so if you want to just get one out of the way take a swing at it. Dont worry, its not like hitting a defended grinder, horror or gray. The way to kill one is to get behind it so it cant see you. Its spikes will retract and you can kill it. Theres no rush killing one, they're quite easy to avoid. Multiple can be problematic, though. Practice helps a lot.

Now biters: Biters can't turn while lunging, so this gives you a huge advantage in manuverability. If you're near the edge of the screen always keep moving unless you want the unlucky award. If one lunges at you, then even if you dont have time to swing just duck to the side. This is useful for avoiding inkies and grinders while fighting one, and exposes its back to you. Very invitingly. Sticky and inky goo also makes them harmless. Stickies, Melties and Inkies: Either smack them as they come or move away. They should probably be killed, as they give invaluable protection against biters. They're also useful against Clutters. Clutters are a pain in the neck, and sometimes it's easiest just to chase them out. If they get stuck in meltie or sticky goo they're doomed (obviously you have to kill them with the latter). Their bullets aren't hard to dodge, and just keep moving and you should be fine. Spinning around fast can dislodge clutter babies.

Now for Grays: Grays are quite simply a bother. They're difficult to kill, but a confrontation is unavoidable due to a risk of void eaters. To kill, wait for its tentacle to lunge towards you. While the tentacle goes forward, its unarmoured and can be hit. 3 hits to a gray. Again, practice is the key. Next: Oozles. They are fairly weak, and pretty much like the inferior version of the amalgam. Whack them 3 times, but do make sure you're at a decent distance. 1 on its own shouldn't be a threat, but like the grays, they're good distractions. Now for horrors: I like these a lot. A nice pleasant game of frisbee swords, then a wonderful 100 points (or a delightful dinner of sliced Knewred). To kill these, move far away from them so they shoot frisbees at you then run in and kill the now vulnerable horror. Practice is key.

After finally completing a big nest (yay!) I feel I have the right to give some tips I find useful in surviving attacks from mobs. Sorry if this is spammy, wrote quite a lot then discovered it was huge. First off, this is one of the few games where the tips are actually useful. Make sure you read through them. First: Void eater: Void eaters are like the gods of Amorphous. The best way to avoid them is prevention. If a gray forms, kill it quick before it transforms again. If its too late then stay next to it as it transforms anyway, and once it has kill it immediately. If it begins to suck, then you're dead, because it will not stop until you're close enough to blast into a million pieces. They sometimes wander out but this is very rare, so just slash (dont worry about everything else, you're dead otherwise) and hope it doesnt send a shockwave. You're probably dead. If not, I applaud you. The best way get your head around killing one is to murder half a billion in practice.
