It's a petty nice game, just needs some balancing. Poison is far too overpowered considering its cumulative/stacking effects. Poison needs instead to wear off in power by 1 or 2 per turn. Also, penalizing the player as loss for a disconnect is harsh.
Loving it, although several things I'd like being changed. Add auto-target if there's only one foe. A way to speed up in battle, or run faster in map/overview map. Maybe also an option for lower-quality visuals for those that don't want as resource-hogging of a game.
Raal: might depend on the character type you play, but I just use "Patch" as a researcher in battle to heal up without using up a med floppy/diskette. Not practical if I'm swarmed by enemies, but against a single opponent that I know I can leave alone for a round or two it works.
The one thing that annoys me is how you can be literally having the gun shoved inside the towers and still miss.
Interesting concept, but bad implementation. Especially in hard mode, the battle can end up becoming never-ending with the enemy continually outputting equal-strength units. Also bad spelling even on the words we have to guess. "fod"? Fix that before you start making Hangman-type games.
Gave up on the game after 7th try on the 5th boss to no avail. Non-intuitive glitchy game that doesn't even have a pause feature... Oh, and the combo system is a massive failure when the stupid ninjas don't even appear in a regular frequency.
Why the hell can't I give this game a 0?!
"TIP: On the 5th boss you have to press the correct arrow when the moving black dot is ON the correct arrow."
What CORRECT arrow? There's no indication of which right, left, or up arrow that's correct.
Initial upgrades should be cheap, subsequent upgrades costly. Oh, is there any actual end to this game, aside from collecting all treasures? Seeing little to no replay value...
It looks decently beautiful. It looked like it had potential...
And then noticed how few types of units are available, even after researching. Strategy? Seems like there's only little to do. Bunkers in front, guns and missiles at back, repair centers supporting the bunkers.
And then there's no way of telling how long a game is supposed to be. "Waves of aliens" as the game description says, but no indication of how many there are. Fast forward is nice, but without knowing when it ends, it's just a boring game.
15 goals in a single game! that ought to be an achievement :p
Funny stuff, I kept throwing the ball at my opponent, then tackle them to take back the ball. Actually worked so well and disabled the opponent at the same time.
Oh, the "Walkthrough" link in the Level Select screen is one of the most annoying places it could have been placed. Double clicking Continue after completing a level essentially opens up a walkthrough because the stupid link ends up exactly where the mouse is.
These links to "more games" and walkthroughs are seriously annoying. Make them smaller and on the corner, not in the middle of the screen right alongside "Reset" and "Men"
There isn't a whole lot of point in having the option to buy up to the 8 full selections of units... when the timer for everything resets back to 0 and you have to wait to recharge every time you deploy a unit. Might as well send in your fastest-recharging unit over and over.
...? This IS Warlords: Call to Arms.
Now, I'd say this is just like Mutually Assured Destruction, except LotR-inspired units instead of missiles and technology. Boring, to say the least.
