I just started playing this game and this is my first game after tutorial and already third time that I need to waste 20-30 seconds, without being able to do anything, staring how some enemy soldier is flying meaninglessly in outer space... And I had at least twice the same meaningless waiting, but shorter: 10-20s... I didn't even finished this first game, because I started writing this comment, and being UNABLE TO PAUSE GAME, even though I was playing solely with AI bots... I left game idle for a moment and then I found out that instead of waiting for me, computer will just skip my turns and I lose after 3 rounds skipped... Please, tell me somebody, is there anything worth playing in this annoying and gamer unfriendly game, so I should grid my teeth and watch for these long minutes how AI players float aimlessly in space?
It's stupid that your kicks cannot harm your enemies when you are mid-air, especially when things like Hydra/Giraffe stomp harms you even when you are in mid-air... The kicks are so slow that I don't see any other usefulness for them, and if they do nothing when you jump, it's just not fair for me.
These missions are damn too slow... When I completed game the game I had only about 1/3 of quests completed and half of things blocked. Why not to create 4-rd or even 5-th stage instead of putting game's functions sole purpose onto survival?
--=_Buggy Badge of a Day!_=-- If you achieved it - congratulations! I (and from what I see also many other players) didn't had patience to be forced to constantly resetting levels because of bugs or refreshing browser, if glitch prevented you from being able to reset...
I give 2/5, maybe change it in future if you repair game-breaking bugs. Why? Because of this bug: after clicking button under right statue, it (button) became red. After clicking button under left statue: game frozen!! I cannot walk or change characters, click arrows or even click circled arrows to restart... Only thing I can do is click mute/unmute sound... or refresh browser, but I am not gonna do this, because how should I know that if make it to this point again, game won't froze once more? I don't want to waste my time to just game frozen again and again, especially that I needed restarting squirrel level after getting black screens, before I finally made it without game breaking...
Abandoning missions is bugged!! Don't abandon missions concerning useful items like Power Cells unless you hide them in stash, because they will just disappeared!! I just lost all cells in my inventory because of that ;( Please, + this comment so other people can see and be careful while abandoning missions, and so Devs can see it and use this and know about the bug.
I think it's a bug: I have 2 identical Grotto Time coupons stacks, containing 1 and 3 coupons, which are unstackable. I cannot join them into one stack with 4 coupons, they just switch places.
When I reached Cave of Immortals, the cheapest weapons in shop started to cost about 250k-300k, while beating single level was giving me about 200 gold... So to buy single weapon, I would need to repeat mission about 1250-1500 times... Is it really alright!!?
Room where 'Ctrl' skill was introduced was just great! I really had fun thinking how to kill all werewolves in this room =) Please, more levels like that if You will be doing sequel! ^_^
I have a note about last update. It says "Offline gains issue ONLY affects the upgrades for the economy structures." But for me, and many other people, even for short conquer (30-40 minutes), and all the more when going idle, it is efficient to have 3 upgrades to all money generators, which gives 1.5 * 1.5 * 1.5 = 3,375 times faster production. Now, if I didn't had these speed updates, I would gain only 29.63% of gold I should receive. Thus, I think that is still enough reason (70% gold loss from buildings) to be fearful of logging out ;)
Good idea would be to add a timer, for example in Kingdom Overview, showing you how much time lapsed from your last reset :) Many people try to conquer world faster and faster, so it could be quite useful statistic :)
It's doable. However it will only be doable currently to show you the total seconds that have elapsed. If you are okay with that, I can do it for the next update. If that is not okay, it will have to wait until the country conquered update as I cannot create a new save object for something so minor (programming issues to be fair). ~Taiga
Badge of a day seems kinda broken. I was playing and lost on my first try - it updated my progress to 114/150 chests. Then, I played again and despite being very close to winning (is tea was being bought faster, I would win, I lost maybe by 10-15 seconds), I lost. I clicked play again and... my score wasn't updated. I tried to refresh, etc, but it's still missing, despite game telling that I can even lose and still get badge ;-(
@kurei13, you are saying that fighting was primitive (3 moves, 6 spells, magic has some issues too). I kinda agree on that, but maybe we could also say that game is easy and still gives "few ways to beat it". I personally have beaten the game in rather weak, but good looking equip (Arrr, that's pirate life for me!), using mostly only one of aforementioned skills and almost no magic, while dumping all skill points in agility, luck and sometimes attack ;) Someone else could probably try to beat it with magic, or some other skill, etc.
Hint for beating boss: just dash on him and when you are in his reach - attack him with [S+A+A] before he attacks you. This will break his attack and push him back, all you need is good timing. Keep attacking him this way and he's helpless, then finish him off in some stylish way, like dashing behind his back and stabbing him or treating with some spell ;)
I find S+A+A most useful attack, allowing to easily keep distance from enemy and push them around. If you play craftily and avoid attacks, you don't really need vitality and defence at all - I kept stacking Agility + Luck + Attack for entire game and for personal pleasure - beat it in Pirate's Hat, Pirate's Shield, Ninja's Outfit + Katana. How great it just looks for me! ^_^
Remember to export your game from time to time! Be it some crash, erroneous cache clearance or your own clumsiness, you won't lose too much if you will have manual copy up your sleeve. ;)
Because of my own awkwardness I'd mistakenly made Hard Reset instead of DK Reset (Yes and No buttons it both reset confirmations looks so similar ;)), but fortunately lost only 10h-12h of progress, which is trivial and very easy to make up for.^^ Starting today, I will have separated folder on desktop, just for my Touria's World saves, made every few or dozen of hours - just in case my clumsiness go wild again ;P
@ Hauntred, I had about 1.66-1.7 millions of DK when I conquered world for the first time, but had some achievements nicely developed and it took me quite long. Not sure where should someone attempt first full conquer to make things most optimal, maybe something between 2M - 4M DK?
Just an FYI to anyone reading, this issue was fixed some time ago. It's now safe to abandon any mission.
