You can speed up time... When you aren't looking at it, time goes faster. I know how it sounds, but try scrolling the screen down, so you can't see what's going on. (NOTE: Only do this if you're absolutely sure you won't lose because of it)
I checked (briefly)... No way to really rate this on its site. If you think Kongregate's rating system is lmited (I do), then Arcadebomb.com's system is soooo much worse. It's a thumbs-up or thumbs-down system. That's the equivalent of just having TWO stars to pick.... Makes the 5-star system look much better. (I still rate this game 4/5.... gave it a 'Thumbs-Up' on its site)
Nice.... Reminds me of 'Space Station Silicon Valley'... except that this is a shooting game, not a 'walk around and solve puzzles while trying to stay alive' game. Plus, I like that you play as an A.I. who values their life, and doesn't actually WANT to kill anybody. They just want to stay alive.
However, the game's rather short, so that cost a bit. My Rating? 4/5 stars... (I still really liked it, and the Challenge Mode adds a little playing value... but it's rather short.) Please make a longer sequel, maybe with purchasable upgrades of some sort. Suggestion: They get bored, and want to explore? (I know this wasn't made by Kongregate... but maybe the suggestion could be passed on to arcadebomb.com? Maybe I'll post something similar to this message there, myself)
Oh, wow.... I should've played the first one a while ago, but I didn't realize how great it might be. Then, I saw a Badge being offered, so I tried it. It's true: Badges give games more of a lure, to any who care even the slightest about them. I care a lot about them, so I HAD to play this. (Some games don't get enough of that, even from badges, though, because they aren't that good.) Anyway, sorry about the extra-long comment... This game's great! It deserves one of my Overmax ratings... 10/5 stars! (I also like the link to MM 1... Nice)
That is true.... If you're color blind, all you really see are a bunch of similar-looking balls. Yet, you fire the cannon anywhere. thinking you're about to win, and... it might just stay there. instead..(Wrong color, but you didn't know) There should be a 'Symbols' option, or something, so all can enjoy this game. Also. if this had an Average rating of 5, just 1 vote below 5 would change it, making it 4.something. (In other words, EVERY VOTE COUNTS... Sorry for sounding like a political ad just then...)
Also, it says: "Sorry, but Kongregate requires we disable the GamerShop. Exp upgrades only on Kongregate." It doesn't say "GamerShop only on Kongregate." Kongregate doesn't allow the 'GamerShop' for some reason. So, if you want to access the GamerShop, you have to play this on its original site.
I like it a lot. You don't have to max your skills in one playthrough, you can keep your chosen skills for the next time you play. 5/5. (It is kinda short, though.. so, it doesn't quite earn one of my Overmax ratings)
The 'glitch' The_Train mentions is no glitch at all. Always, always, ALWAYS remember to SAVE your progress (if you make any.... 1 or more gold and/or experience earned = progress. Then, when you play the game later, LOAD your progress. ONLY click LOAD if you've SAVEd progress, or you end up with 'undefined' stats, and you start the game without any HP (hence the falling-down-and-dying-without-apparent-reason).
That is true, though... I mean, did you credit ANY of the original crews that made those games? I don't remember seeing a screen that even thanked them (Plus, you should have asked them first, if this could be done. On BYOND, lots of art was copied, and such, but they somehow got away with it).
If only you could at least save the fact that you beat Veranas, as a fully-good, Max-Intelligence Mage.... Oh, well. Nice game, despite the misspellings. 4/5. (I hope the Rebels get their name spelled correctly, in the next one..... There IS going to be a sequel, right? If so, I'd like to be able to carry my stats into it, if possible)
Hmm... The level editor seems to be a lie. Survival mode is all that actually works. I can't give this game a 3, even.... Hopefully, I missed something (maybe hold Control+Alt, while clicking? Just a guess, though...) To give the game's developer/s a chance, I won't rate it at all. I'd simply bring the Overall Rating down, if I rated it....... Good luck to all who try playing this. If you find the code needed to activate the levels, I'd like to know it.
"Take Your Canvas Bags to the Supermarket" seems to have more playability than this game's Campaign mode. (Haven't tried any other modes yet)... Maybe this game needed more than just 14 months? After I try Survival, at least, I'll give this a real rating... (If Survival doesn't work, either, though............ it might get 1 star.... unless the 'Deathmatch' mode is great, at least....)
I have one tip that might help: Go buy/find/borrow a game of Scrabble. (There might even be a Scrabble game here, on Kongregate) Then, play it for a while. CAUTION: You might get addicted to it. If so, though, it'll help you with learning more words in the English language. (Unfortunately, some words like Pluto aren't accepted, in this game...)
This game's really good... but no save function= -1 star. (It'd also be nice, if you could buy more equipment, but at least you're able to keep training) After round 120, I was getting really bored, and wanted to save it (so I could return and train more later)... Couldn't save, though, so.... that explains the loss of that star. (It was a shiny star, too.......)
At wave 40, I decided to stop.... Also, that Laser seems like it's just a toy. (The AK-47 does far better)... I guess Smith1302 accidentally left it as "just a graphic" apparently..... The game's fun, but it just seems there aren't enough working weapons... or, at least, ways to upgrade them. 4/5, though I'm teetering towards 3/5.......
Yep, it seems to be a copy... with a couple things added. It's like it's a sequel, but the first game's not mentioned at all.. and it has a different author. Copied games=Not fit to grace these Webhalls.... You didn't even give credit to the designer of "Treasure of Cutlass Reef"...
The Old Glory works... It's like a Minigun. (Wait, I might've referenced the wrong weapon... You hold the button for a while, to use it... It works well, but isn't enough on its own. (except, perhaps, if it's fully upgraded))
