The game's biggest problem is that it hates you for using its own gimmick and fills the screen with swarms of bullets that are literally impossible for your squad to evade. It defeats the purpose of gathering more people for your squad when they die incredibly fast due to all the unavoidable firepower being outputted.
Uh, nope. There's no direction, no clear-cut goal, and the only actual gameplay in the platforming section has those stupid floating jump physics no one likes. The art is cool, but art alone doesn't make a good game.
Can we please put an end to the missions that cannot be completed unless you do the previous missions first? Please? It is the most infuriating thing whenever they show up in a game.
Too long an intro. The lack of common sense the protagonist displays is appalling - why do you need to thin out a portrait to get the idea to use a knife on a stuffed lynx? 3/5.
Game's impossible. You don't get enough time to get through the long dungeon, your only means of progression are bottlenecked by how often the swords/keys drop, and the only way of restoring time is fairly ineffectual. You seriously need to look at removing some of the luck aspect from this game - that'd make it a lot simpler. Examples would be forcing at least 3 of each kind of token/gem on the board so you're never really out of pieces, or compromising and favoring dropping tokens/gems that are underrepresented on the board.
How the hell did this get badges but the superior pirate launch game was overlooked? This was just stupidly frustrating with boring upgrades (and in the case of the helmet, outright useless) and a wall of enemies that slowed you down to absurd levels. 1/5, go learn what makes games fun before you make more games.
