Ok, how the hell do I beat Blue Racer on world four? I upgrade my car's speed and armor, as well as swapped out the plasma-lance for the flame windows (as per the quest-giver's instructions in the Cave Riddle), but he still disrupts my orbit once I break light speed. Any suggestions?
The difficulty on this is insane! Once you get to past third level's boss, you need the Zircon Pot, but they don't tell you that ahead of time! If you don't have the Pot, then you can't use the flame to get the Malta nut to evolve Mayu to complete the game. There's no hints to this, so you need a walkthrough to beat it. Pretty lame.
Ugh, can't beat Nagoya even on easy mode with the best armor and dual wielding +10 weapons. I have maxed stats/skills, and my entire army is decimated almost instantly. I can solo just fine until the second round, and I get insta-killed by the horribly unbalanced skill the enemy has.
Christ...the computer has an "instant win" button. I'm a max population, and have fought the computer all the way to its fortress, when it suddenly spawns it's full population all at once, as well as simultaneously fires two green snot comets from the sky. Everything I had was wiped out in less than ten seconds. And this was a defensive mission.
Fun game w/nice concept, but an actual explosion animation would've helped a lot. Also, Geobar is a mehfag: every game on this site is a waste of time, that's what they're for.
CONGRATULATIONS FOREVER. Very nice game. Though I know it was designed as more of a satire than anything else, the entire premise was well executed (though I wish the ship design portion had a grid to make things a little easier to line up).
Heh, I'm up to level 12 now will full upgrades...I haven't had to fire a shot in three levels because I just stay in the upper-right corner...no one spawns and no one shoots at me...weird glitch
Ugh, I agree with Icepirate: on extreme mode, the difficulty curve is more of a brick wall. Shortly after 1300 kills, enemies just start shrugging off *everything*. A fully upgraded missile turret attached to two fully upgraded machinegun turrets with a big damage tower and an RoF increase tower did *nothing*. Enemies were shrugging off NUKES.
The victory screen needs punctuation. It could be either:
1) You move so fast, old people can't see you!
or...2)You move, so fast old people can't see you.
The only thing more useless that writing "first" in a comments section is being wrong about being first. Slightly less useless is a comment complaining about Firstards.
Fun game, but JESUS is it unforgiving and difficult. I can't get past level 2 because I keep running into clusters of gas giants(?) that pull me into an inescapable gravity well before they're even on screen. If I try to slingshot around them, I invariably get chucked into a planet.
This is hilarious...it a satire of Braid, since some of it's puzzles are mind-bending the first time you play them, and the story is nonsensical (and told in a nonsensical manner).
Ok, how the hell do you kill this guy? I tried my weapons, but they don't seem to work. Is there a walkthrough for this? I really hate these esoteric puzzles.
