abyssoft makes a good point about the controls, they also seem a bit jerky. Maybe add some additional info such as what levels the skills are unlocked at, what we have to accomplish to unlock new tanks and maps, etc. Also, I can't figure out the point of the "Control Panel". Calling it a Battle Log seems more reasonable...did I miss something about it's feature?
Played the game just last night, fun game and no problems. Tried picking up from where I left off, saved data is gone and there is no back button to return to previously beaten plants.
Stuck on the tut. It keeps indicating to press CTRL to "test my lazers", yet it won't let me progress even after I fire them several times. I've tried both holding down the button and pressing it a few times. The lazers work just fine, the dialoge still doesn't progress however. It just keeps looping the same dialoge and wants me to fire them. Pressing "Space" or "L" does nothing to skip past it. I hope to play this game through, when I can get past the tut.
The "Dedicated to:" part at the beginning was touching and a nice change to see.
Wish the American theme song would loop, love the start of it at the title screen. The loop of just that one small bit gets a bit annoying after a while. I can understand the need to avoid copyright and legal issues though, just a different variation would be nice.
Yep, wasnt sure whether i should implement it or not. Will surely use it for the next part. Collecting several ideas though and the next game wont be an idle game. :)
How is it "self explanatory" ? I clear one row by highlighting five red pieces, and I get points. I try to do that again with any number/color, and they just sit there.
Having some sort of instructions at the start would be a hugh help. I have tried, I have yet to find the Pause or Mute buttons. The "ready to work" every 5-10 seconds can get a tad bit annoying, I like the music in the background though. I cannot, for the life of me, pick up a villager. That being said, eating one is out of the questions. It tends to lag quite a bit as more villiages come on the the screen, to the point where it is almost unplayable. If you can look at some of those problems, I'd happily play it again.
