Tip for the hard badge: In the beginning, make a stack as straight up as you can. You want to stack at least 50 in pretty straight line. Then, when a bomb forces you to stack a few on the edge, try to amass a chain of Edge and Accuracy bonuses. This way, you get a nice base score and when the King starts to eat, you have an easy to follow path for a massive end chain. Remember to avoid rotten cakes, and buy the two classic power-ups to make is easier!!
Pretty good game. Entertaining, and has everything it needs for the basic concept. My only suggestion is that there needs to be some way to, after you beat the game, either select the floor you want or at the very least, select to play from exiting the tower. That way we get the full effect of the end. Also, I know it's a Newgrounds thing, but I'd rather have cumulative medals than random ones. 4/5, at least. Good game!
Chilibrot is almost right. You actually have to get 1,200,000 points total to get the secret mission to show up. While getting that many points will require you to get 5 stars on all five missions, you can get 5 stars on those missions and NOT have that many points. Hope this helps!
Simple way to get several Platinum Trophies: After getting all the Bronze, Silver, and Gold trophies, start a new match. Put your nine points: 3 levels in spread and 2 levels in speed. Then, stay in one spot, do NOT move, and shoot enemies. Only move to pick up the shield, as that will save your chain. Using this, you can get the trophies for not getting hit, 1000chain, 2500enemies, and 1,000,000 points in a single game, and the chain ups the points, and not moving = not leveling = not increasing difficulty. + if this helps!
An okay game. 3.5/5, rounded to 4. My main issue was the randomness. I know that adding in set paths and such will make the game easier and allow walkthroughs, but the fact that half the time there is literally no way to dodge guards, and the other half the boss walks up to you is kinda fail. If that wasn't enough, I've had escape routes spawn in the middle of five guys and others spawn three feet from me. The more random, the less skill, and any game with the word assassin should be about skill.
I actually did not enjoy this game. At first it was fun, but very quickly it gets repetitive and old. I agree with those saying that there is no strategy involved whatsoever. It's pure luck, and even the "easy" computer still can get lucky, banking over 5000 points on me in the second round. As for playing it, I could write a computer code with my strategy in it and just let it run forever. I do the exact same thing for every game I play. 2.5/5 at most, due to achievements and originality. I wanted better though.
The only thing I really dislike is that when you start to fall, you imediately drop instead of keeping some foward momentum to create a 45 degree angle. The momentum makes your eyes think you will make it, because physically it's supposed to. But other than that, it's great. Needs more achievements!! 4/5 for now
Someone else in the comments suggested deleting cookies and temporary internet files... That worked for me. It worked once, then when I closed/reopened the window, it wouldn't get past the loading screen. ***Deleting Cookies and Temporary Internet Files WORKS!!***
An amazing game. My only complaint was there was no epic boss at level 20... I mean, we spent all that money making the GAME epic, why not have a boss? XD Awesome game though. 5/5
