Great game, and it has potential. All I would say is that you need more puzzle-like levels, and less "run back and forth" levels. Puzzle =/= the difficult ones either, those are just difficult because time. Also, if you cleaned up the UI a bit, made it more interesting/user-friendly, and added achievements (you already have a timer), this could be really great.

Okay, the end of the game forces me to lower my rating. Final opinion: You've made an upgrade game with a TON of design choices that do NOT compliment that. The upgrades are expensive and force you to grind, and they aren't even worth their cost. And you HAVE to grind to get them all, because New Game+ resets you back to nothing. The last 8 levels weren't hard, just needed the upgrades, and the rest of the game was repetitive and dull. 3/5, and I'm being generous at that.

I'm only halfway through, but... I'm not feeling this one like the first. The upgrades seem shoddily put together, especially given how long the game is. They don't seem to reward the player enough. The gameplay seems dull this time around, and why do I have to use a non-free support in EVERY level objective? I just... don't think this lives up to or improves on the second one :\

Okay, some tips: 1. Learn the movements! Practice! You should realize that movements don't change much over the minute. The speed is an optical illusion of the rotation - you will hold down the arrow a certain amount of time for a certain distance no matter what. 2. In the beginning, focus on moving to empty spaces. As you progress, focus on moving to avoid what is coming. The difference is how far ahead you are looking. 3. Learn the spirals! Like 1, practice. The choppy one requires one held spin, the smooth one requires a pause. 4. Don't get stuck on one position, movement length, or movement direction. Keep it varied to keep yourself on edge. 5. Don't get distracted. Play around with things like audio, distance from screen or sitting comfort to make sure you are focused. NEVER look at your time. 6. Don't get frustrated. Take breaks, even if it's only for a minute (so you retain practice). But losing shouldn't make you negative - focus on the goal and nothing else. Good Luck!

lol, you can downrate me and others all you want, but... http://oi48.tinypic.com/eg96x3.jpg 700+ people including myself have managed with the game's movements. This game is perfectly possible WITHOUT strict movement controls - instead of begging to make it easier, try practicing until you get it. Only took me about an hour, so... I think I've proved my point. I'm about to make a comment with some tips, so I hope it helps.

Quit complaining about movement control. Adding that in would completely defeat the purpose of the game and make the entire difficulty go away. Enjoy the fact that you can rage at a game that is literally nothing more than moving left to right, and stop begging to make it easier.

The logic of this game baffles me on two things. 1. Why can I ONLY hit between 90% and 110% of my strength? Golf is usually half aim, half strength, but this skews that completely. 2. Why the heck is there sections in the green that I am FORCED to use my putter in, but even at the perfect angle and 110% strength, I can't even come close to the hole? There's a reason that the green is FLAT in real golf. It makes no sense here.

To me, this game is identical to the last two, which has gotten a little dull to be honest. Luck is the largest factor - even the most skilled person will get most of their Ultimates by luck. Randomly-moving AI control this game, not the player, and that's getting a bit boring. Also, the 30 second time limit is a bit unfair in a few levels. Particularly N12... it takes ~7 seconds just to get past the first guy, and there's no way around that with his preset movement.

Two major problems with this. The first is that the difficulty curve is terrible. Levels 11-14 and 16-19 are way too easy for their bosses, and the last five are two steps up from those. The other thing is that the ONLY thing that makes this "bullet hell" difficult is the enemy's homing rockets. Take those out and the entire thing becomes simple. I don't believe that relying on one part for your difficulty is very good, but that might just be me.

Sorry, but after the first two, this is the EXACT same game with slightly different layouts. The teleporters don't change the gameplay or difficulty at all. If you're going to keep making these, you NEED to do something more creative with it. It was near-boring at the end of the first one, two more and now I start to groan every time I see a game like it.

So, I've gotten Godlike Combos of 22, 21, and 20 now, and still no badge. Dunno if it's a bug on your end or what... It's hard to get a screenshot in with all the button presses but it looks like that's what I have to resort to... Time to do it again, I guess.

Playing through the same levels 3 times while beating them all in one slice each time is kinda annoying. There were only a couple levels actually worth the challenge of non-multiple slices. That being said, you did good with the new level set and mechanic. 3/5 or 4/5, still deciding.

I really feel like this game is TOO easy. You have some great systems, why not use them? Make more and multiple objectives in levels, make enemies more aggressive, add limitations and restrictions other than just a mana cap. Time trials and other gimmicks will add replay value as well. All of these will break away from the long and repetitiveness of the current game. 10 levels in and I really haven't had a need to do anything but terraform. Also, it would be nice to know what powers do and what heroes do instead of trial and error. 3.5/5, but I'll give it a 4 just because it's a really good start.

Agreeing about the jump height... I know that it is intended to make it difficult, but it's bad that that is the ONLY thing that makes this game difficult. It's just frustrating to miss a jump like that, or to make a V around power-ups because you don't have a choice. Other than that though, you have a great template for a great runner. I can't wait for the sequel to see how you can improve it :)

I´ll fix that in the sequel. Too hard to rebalance everything rith now.

The last level is glitched on both difficulties. I played it many times, and each time hit all enemies, and kept getting 2 below the total score. Then you fixed it so crashing counts, but now I am forever 1 below the total. I am 100% sure I hit everything, too. I can only guess it has something to do with the boss and spawning, or maybe an enemy is missing the part to count as a kill.

This game is just as bad as the first one - meaning, you didn't fix anything that made the first one bad. Opponent cars never waver in speed, so this game is more of time trials than racing. Then there's the whole crashing instantly = 16 places back, regardless of if you are in first place and a mile ahead. And lastly, how can the opponent cars whip those turns so much better than you? No skidding, no speed reduction, and even at max you have to struggle not to crash? Top it off with lacking the basic racing game mechanics like an "Acceleration" category and a Minimap, and you have a terrible tribute to the racing genre. 2/5, at best.

Developer response from turboNuke

1. It's a game. 2. It's one of the most popular Flash games, with over 110 million plays. We couldn't change the basic winning formula very much, but I'm sorry you don't like it.

Honestly, I can only give this a 2/5 or 3/5... It feels identical to Death vs. Monstars, except that had a better gimmick. Everything else about this game just feels like it was rehashed from other games: the enemies, the endless mode, the upgrades... Add 0 storyline outside "hey, go kill everyone" and no difficulty whatsoever, and it becomes a pretty bad game. The points I do give are for graphics, audio, and playability, but there's absolutely nothing special about this.

So, what the hell. I beat the game missing one crystal and one heart. Thinking that I can just go back and finish the game with perfection, I reload, and MY ENTIRE MAP IS GONE. All I have left is from the last time I clicked Exit to Menu. Did you really program this to NOT save your map as you go? How did you not think of that? This is poorly coded, sorry. That has ruined everything about the game.

An okay game, but way too skill-dependent for the Brilliant Ratings. My Suggestion: let each achievement add one skill point, then have three pools at the end that require 40 skill points in that class (max) that all they will do is increase the FireRate/Range/Damage of towers, but you can put infinite skill points in. Then you can make your levels more difficult without ever worrying about being too harsh. But right now I'm at a point that I HAVE to grind to get the last couple Brilliants... not because I lack technique, but because those skills are REQUIRED to do well. I don't think that's fun, IMO. 3.5/5 for now.
