Also, can anybody explain the Anomaly Detection Device Augment to me? Increasing yield for same mission lenght? Does that count for multiple Gophers, I don't get it xD
Cool game :) I think the 'science' mechanic needs some tweaking, though. It being random (and possibly adding 'drink' or 'dessert' to a dish can screw with your MotD-bonus and your build. For now I just restart until the outcome is good. But I would suggest making science a choice and not random plus only taking the first two traits of a dish into consideration for MotD.
Thanks! Yeah, I was thinking about adding a skill that makes science a choice at some point. For now I just made it not screw MotD (while still helping sometimes).
Some Objectives are a bit off. I just completed the game and e.g. 'phat fit' triggered at 4000h instead of 4200h. There are a few bugs and inconsistencies around and even after having completed all objectives not all mechanics are fully clear to me. I don't know enough to comment about the 5-h-until-upgrade-copy thingy. But I did enjoy this game. It has some interesting mechanics, takes some thinking, repitition and time to complete, but finishes at a well defined end. Well done, it's a solid 4/5 from me :)
@Storm I assume it speeds up the leadership skill, i.e. the speed at which the percentage goes up. But since it's only 1.1x per level it is kind of hard to notice, so not 100% sure about it. There is definately a rise of power associated with higher provenance. Could be due to the weapons and systems exponent though.
To everyone that has hit a wall. What helped me is first giving the missions 2-9 a decent go, and then farming provenance for a while. After the initial few retrofits good values for automatic that worked well for me are: 2 (systems), 50 (weapons) and 0.1 (legacy, time to fill). Leave that running over night or even for 2 days. After that you should be able to improve significantly on a long regular starfight, increasing your legacy points. No idea if this is an optimal strategy, but I'm at 1e1800 legacy points and 1e7 provenance with it :)
@bugsbunny Yeah, increasing the points by a factor of 1.8e308 ten times gives really huge and possibly unreachable numbers. But that is how the objective is worded. So either the dev put in a misleading description or there is a way to reach these absurd numbers. We do need some clarification from the dev on this. Same with the behaviour of the auto-retrofit above e308, seems to give the wrong factors.
