The engine is okay, but the gameplay is boring. The three "unique" classes boil down to a berserker with guns, a guy who can heal while shooting people with guns, and a hit-and-run technician (with guns).
The whole game, in fact, is severely hurt by its formulaic gameplay and utter lack of variety. There's only two types of weapons, the skills available to each character are mostly superfluous once you get the flow of the gameplay down, and there's only a few types of enemies, which can each be dispatched in mostly the same way.
Additionally, the graphics are downright painful. Matrixy worlds are just a terrible base to go with.
pkedpker, level 12 is hardly a problem at all. Indeed, the only difficult part of it is getting the coin in the topright collapsible blocks.
Don't rate a game poorly just because YOU'RE terrible at it.
It's alright, but needs improvement. The camera is horrible - you can never tell if you're actually CLEAR of an obstacle unless you're constantly hugging the ground - and the sound needs work.
This game has all the same problems of the last one. Namely, it's too damn annoying to control these little things. One errant bounce can screw up your entire level.
It'd be nice if there were a "speed things up" button... Also, for anyone complaining about the color scheme, it's totally random. If a level's colors are not to your liking, restart the level till you get a satisfactory combo.
Oh gods. That song is so beautiful.
Top marks for this game. Gameplay is beautiful and requires strategic thinking (even if it is tricky to figure out at first).
The controls are terribly unrefined and your chance of survival on a given playthrough is way too random. No music, unimpressive graphics, and the HUD is awful and doesn't give nearly as much information as it should.
