The cannon mechanics are inconsistent and the physics are off on some parts. It's clear the creator spent little time on testing it, or perhaps simply did all the testing himself without bringing in third parties. The timing required on some of these puzzles is beyond human skill capacity and leaps happily into trial-and-error territory. Would be 3/5, but the lack of rigor and effort in some parts makes this a 2/5.
"Perfectly executed?" I think not. Between ambiguous expectations on bombing results (leaving the gameplay as more Trial-And-Error than actual Puzzle), multiple possible results on identical configurations, lack of variety in gameplay, wonky physics, and that's just the GAMEPLAY, this game leaves much to be desired.
The game is a little too fickle on what "perfect balance" means. The creator needs to make it so that you are automatically granted a pass if your blocks last a period of time without falling offscreen.
Because if that swaying block didn't fall off in the first 500 points I seriously doubt it'll fall off in the next.
The trick to this game is that the guy in charge of the puzzles is somewhat predictable: Find what looks like the shortest and simplest path to follow, and it will almost invariably occupy space on all three sides of the cube.
Somewhat interesting, but highly flawed on many points. The rate at which gravity affects weapons makes no sense, there's no way to prevent bullet damage but to kill the source first (which becomes impossible very quickly), no powerups or anything of the sort, and did I mention the gravity which makes it inordinately difficult to AIM?
Despite the fast paced action, it's kinda boring. Leveling up has no noticable impact, there's no graphic difference between the enemies aside from color, and you never need to move if you're a good enough shot (which itself isn't much of an accomplishment).
The fact that it seems to be a ranged clone to Amorphous doesn't help.
...terrible. The gameplay is bland and repetitive, the "plot" makes far less sense than it attempts to, and the makers have not only ripped off one of the finer pieces of video game music out there, but somehow made it IRRITATING to listen to.
Man, this game doesn't pull any punches.
I love it! I just wish there was some music, but then again that simply means I can have the ass-kicking tune of my choice on while I play.
