On my first few playthroughs, I missed the Cat in Awk's house and simply deduced that he was impersonating the Cat in letters, but on the final playthrough, I actually saw the Cat talking to Awk in the house. Interesting variation.
1. Don't spread out your territory too much! It will thin your resources and soon you will run out of bullets and/or have your defenses penetrated. Always keep on the move; tear down depots and snipers in areas that lack resources. Concentrating a large number of survivors in one workshop is also a good idea. 2. Move towards the bridge. Your primary aim should be to demolish it and stop the flow of zombies. If you decide to explore the rest of the island and collect all resources first, you'll be overwhelmed by zombies that arrive in an increasingly larger horde. Blow the bridge up first, then deal with the rest of the zombies later. 3. Conserving ammo is important. If you have enough manpower, assign them to the watchtowers, especially the ones where the zombies will arrive at first. The increased accuracy will guarantee that extra bullets won't be wasted on zombies. Remember to assign the snipers (save one just in case) back to the workshops after an attack.
The combat system reminds me of that of Caravaneer 2's. Overall, quite nicely done, although weapon stats should be displayed at all times instead of only when exchanging weapons.
The art style of this game and "Carpe Diem" is quite similar. Heck, Crowal Shepherd looks like the male protagonist of Carpe Diem. And the menu interface is the same. Are you the same guy under a different account?
Find out in the nest episode. O_o
