@allo55 - you have to combine the three pieces of evidence concerning the art class on the reports board (post it note, list of art schools and note from Rizzoli)
As others have said, this desperately needs a save system of some sort. i accidentally hit Main Menu from the power up screen and had to restart from the beginning.
At the very least, ad a confirmation warning to the Main Menu button in all the screens it's in telling you that you'll have to restart from the beginning.
One problem I just noticed ( and hadn't before) is that when you tear cards into strips, you can't tell which of the cards are currently in decks and which aren't. I tore up some cards I had duplicates of and ended up removing all of the ones currently in my deck instead of the extras. The Browser shouldn't let you shred currently decked cards. Took me a while to figure out where my iron and crystal mines had gone to.
Liked that the puzzles actually made sense, as pointed out by others, even if it was a little two short and simple overall.
Possible spoilers below:
@Puppet121 - you need the ring to get the sword
@Skywalkerr - move the rock, light the stove, look by the chest.
@Tripticus I got stuck there for quite a while as well. In room Camera 18, you have to go as far left as you can under the water, then run right and jump, and you can just barely make it to the blocks above. From what I can tell you can't make it without that running start.
@HandEFood - I'd be curious to see a screenshot of your solution because I completed with the only solution that I could find based on the given clues, and it looked like I expected from the name of the puzzle.
if you previously completed the game, all you have to do to get the badge is load in, select the last room, and complete. The badge immediately triggered for me
@yomamasmama - you failed because you didn't complete the level - each set has 10 rooms, you need to have red, yellow, green and blue on those buttons and then white goes to the next room to get the final coins and finish.
A tip for anyone having problems with the hidey-holes. Fill the rooms with water first, and they stand out as blank white areas - have you find them they get the dotted black frame.
Now to comment on the game - I enjoyed it overall. Not perfect, but a decent tribute to SOTC, and the length of the game and levels it just about right for a quick casual game. 4/5
@big_buluga So if the up arrow were used for jumping, how would you propose you jump while climbing? Would you add a separate button just for climbing? Having a separate button for jumping is pretty standard in flash games and in video games back to the early 80s - see Mario Bros, Pitfall and Elevator Action, for a few examples.
Not bad, but if you play with "essential dialogue only", it gets really glitchy. It will take the non-essential dialogue from someplace you click (with no effect) and play that the next time you click on a person). I recommend Full Dialogue just so you get responses as to why clickable objects do nothing.
If you missed the daughter then you somehow screwed up in exploring - make sure you check every room and open window (watch for 3rd floor openings). As soon as you enter you'll get a PDA message saying you found her, but she'll be sitting in a bright green jacket, and not already up and shooting like other survivors. After you go over and use Up to search her, she becomes active with a pistol.
