The locking which direction the piece is moving needs to be a little more generous. Separating a piece from the chunk should make it disappear regardless of if it's still in the zone the game considers 'on screen' this is irritating as soon as the very first level.
It really is the little things that make this one frustrating when it could be excellent. For example, having to open the achievement menu just to find out why you got an achievement even though the pop-up is much larger than the info-bar inside the menu. There shouldn't necessarily be a tutorial or instructions, per se, but it feels like you have to decipher what's going on much more than should be needed to enjoy exploring a game like this.
A high-score table, not being forced to game over-screen(without being able to go back and look) and markings to keep track of order(even a small optional 2048 normal overlay) are what are keeping me from rating this extremely highly.
That aside, it is not true 2048, the appearances do not seem exactly random and the fact that they only show up with the lowest number instead of the lowest two(I do not know the official proportion, however) but this would be something that could be stated in the description on the game and I would be extremely happy to maybe eventually get the highest possible score on this easier version... being that my first paragraph's observations were programmed in.
Unless you're really close to beating a level anyway, it's more lucrative to grind lower level so long as you've gotten one decent set of equipment from the level you can't beat, than it is to try to optimize play. You'd get more experience just dying more often on the harder level, but forge fodder is the name of the game. The forge don't care what you contribute, only how much.
The colors for the equipment correlate to the number of attributes they have, blue being 1 same as black, green 2, red 3. The levels of the stat randomizations will be similar between them according to the loot rarity, red won't always be best.
Damage and Speed stats are only upgradable every fourth time or so, plan the equipment to enhance your best attributes, and each other. If you're not sure if a damage 554 is better than a damage 429 with a damage 09% stack, try them both on with the stats page open.
I'm sure there was something else but I'm gunna go try to one hit this mofo.
It'd be nice if the red chains were actually competing rather than sacrificing themselves to sabotage. Also, there is a glitch where if a red appears next to a yellow, unless you're already in the yellow chain, the yellow turns white... but can still activate but doesn't yellow any other proteins.
Going back to tutorial level in order to get the standing torches as last achievement(with a couple spell timing errors) will nab you 102 raids, a little over 5,000 gold and waste twenty extra minutes on a game you're already done with.
I'm sorry, but the glowing plasmatic button on the level-select menu wasn't enough; you had to "ad" a 'mobile game' pop-up at the end of the levels, t'boot?
Very rare that a puzzle game sticks to being able to be solved on figuring alone. Kept me thinking the whole time but wasn't kicking myself. Not having to reset stages made impossible by 'wrong' moves is just one more reason to relax.
