Yep, games like this aren't really games. click and wait? Um... boring as hell. Too bad because the developers obviously spent a lot of time on the game. I cannot rate this any higher than a 1 - and I don't know how anyone could.
p.s. It certainly is pay to win since you can buy uber equipment if you spend enough rubies, but the devs have to make money somehow - it's not like it's a big deal since it's basically co-op gameplay at most.
Never been a fan of "energy" systems in games when it limits play, but that's been fixed up by the looks of things. Good graphics and music (repetitive though easily turned off) sounds are good, too. Not bad gameplay for how basic the game really is at its core. Well done overall, not 5/5 material but awfully close. Keep up the good work.
Stat resets happen - not the end of the world. Annoying, sure, but no reason to change the rating or get cranky about it and rate 1/5. It is a solid TD game and even though it's mostly been done before at this point it is still fun to play. Not too keen on th pay to win scheme but I simply won't pay money to play a time-waster flash game, to each their own on that.
Game looks nice but it's a brick breaking game. I find it very boring overall - sorry. I'm sure some people really enjoy this kind of game but it's really not for me. 2/5 only becase brick breaking games are dull and although the graphics are nice - I do not feel compelled to play more than the 2 minutes I have already spent on it.
Easy to win if you get the upgrades in the right order and pretty tough if you get them wrong. The game has potential but it isn't great - well made but the game itself is dull. I wonder why you can jump at all - when I jump even the smallest of enemies I still take damage.
Great voice acting - lab alien was great. Enjoy the game, thanks for the volume controls and speed up button - too many people forget those two little things that are nice to have. Keep making games, you have talent.
Fantastic game. First 5/5 for me in a while. Great music and gameplay - you show that a simple concept can make an amazing game. The only criticism that I have is similar to some other comments - the end of level timer ends things a tad too soon, I have seen the last wooden piece floating toward the fire then I "fail". I know it only means there's a faster solution though.
As with most games of this type it's very repetitive which gets super boring after a pretty short period of time. Most fights once your opponents are fully armored go like this - aim for the head or body, attack until you win. No point in hammering through two limbs covered in armor when you can just take out the head or body and drop them faster. I originally gave it a 4, but after the monotony of the second city got to me I had to drop it down to a 2 because it's just not a good game. Besides, you can set your gladiators to "auto" and the game plays itself.
