There are many things going right in this game, but many things also going horribly wrong. The most recent one I've noticed is that turning off the music also turns off the sounds in battle. I don't want the sounds off, just the music! Adjusting the sound volume only seems to affect the menu screen. Who designs something like that?
The sound in this game is awful. I don't want lame canned music, I want sound effects that let me know what's happening. Give me a big drastic sound when my Avatar dies, for example.
People are really complaining about Challenge 4? That one was easy as cake. Challenge 2 is the one that's trashing me. I just keep getting cornered, no matter how hard I try.
The reason the gravity of small planets appears stronger is because in the equation to determine the force of gravity between two objects, the distance between the them is squared. This is the distance between the center of the objects, not their surface. You can get a lot closer to the smaller planets, while the large ones, despite the large mass, don't have much pull to make you rest on them because you're so far away from their center.
Any thoughts on taking care of wave 70? I got up there without even having to juggle but the flying ones just sail on by. I had a good twelve typhoon towers, most with 100% damage bonus, as well as a few blizzard towers and I didn't knock down a single flying creep.
The Girdle was stopping my Spiked Boots earlier.
Thought: since they take longer, 5-card games should have a slightly higher chance to win a card. That way if you won the same percent of your games, you'd average the same number of cards over the same amount of time as 3-card.
Against some of the characters, Shield Bash doesn't do that much damage. Depending on who you're playing as, the proper counter to Shield Bash is to rest.
I thought this was on the easy side myself. Build just enough defenses to beat the aliens off and then spend the rest on economic centers. Get fifteen or so economic centers on the globe and then just build up like crazy. Depending on your difficulty level, sell the econ centers back at some point to make room for more weapons.
cjdurkin, that's just something to plan when you set up your deck. It's not like you know what your opponent's going to have until the game loads up. Chances are, one of your three is best against random opponents at close range.
I feel like my Teleport and Ninja-port should not be counterable by bringing a new guy in. Sure, no damage and let the new character on the board, but with the stance changed. It's not like Helene's Enchant Blade is countered by switching someone else in.
This is especially important if you find yourself in a 1v2 situation. It's too easy to force someone into only playing long or only playing short when switching counters these affects.
Wasn't made to be too hard, but it was way too short. I liked how the game was set-up so that you couldn't die, but were still placed in peril. It would have been nice if the puzzles required more than a knowledge of roman numerals.
