As others have said, good starting point. A couple of criticisms: the display is too big for the browser. Add autofire. The ship's hitbox feels a little oversized for as fast paced as it is.
All that said, surprisingly fun little game for something made in ten days. You could do a lot with it.
I feel like I'm missing something- wood factory, built on a forest, with a road connecting it to a storehouse... but it's operating at 0%. What am I doing wrong?
Here's a thought: grant extra continues at certain score thresholds. For instance, +1 at 100, and, say, every 50 after that, or even every hundred after that. Late in the game, a minor mistake can end a long run prematurely.
Game is still all kinds of NaN'd. I can't make any gold and cannot therefore progress at all. I'll check back once more, in a few days, to see if it's fixed; if not, I'm out.
Very clever. As others have pointed out, not especially difficult, but then, games don't have to be hard, or even challenging, to be clever and fun. I'd like to see more of the same, thank you.
