I mostly like the new changes, but shortening the dungeons so much has made leveling feel much more grindy, and it seems like the gains flatten out very quickly. It gets lots harder to improve your gear, and the bosses seem to scale kinda badly- I was able to get through the first set in a pretty streamlined fashion, but after resetting once, I'm having trouble leveling or finding better gear, and I cannot beat the third boss.
Love the game a lot, but a couple things: occasionally, when selling an item by dragging, it'll sell my whole inventory. Also, if I launch any other application, the game will "lose context of the device" and stop running, and I'll have to reload.
Relatively fun game, but when I got to the end, there's this great "congratulations" screen... that I can't get off of. I would given you 3.5, 4 stars, but... this is really bad design... so... 2/5 from me til it gets fixed.
+1 for confirming level change. The game also seemed a little laggy to me (though this could be my computer, too). I like the idea, and the overall asthetic, but there are some quality of life features that could make it even better; for example, when I'm in the inventory screen, I have to click Exit to leave it, but it'd be great if clicking on the character screen button (or hitting C) while in your inventory would just switch them, and being able to hit Escape instead of clicking exit would be much more intuitive. I haven't run into the split level issue, but all of these things together... 3.5/5... I'll give it a 4, because badges, but it needs polish.
Was breaking the use of keypad clicks deliberate? Bad form, if so. I love this game, but my CTS makes it near impossible to play it just using the mouse. =/
Fun game, but a few issues: no offline progress, though it acts like there should be. Game play is slightly counter-intuitive, and there are no tutorials. There doesn't seem to be a way to end the "missions" short of dying or finishing it, so you can't shop, sell, etc while you're fighting. Otherwise, though, good stuff. =)
Neat idea, but has some flaws. As others have pointed out, it stops running if the window isn't "active." Could use some polish, more upgrades, etc, as well as some different effects- it's not visually appealing, really. Also, BADLY needs a mute button. Could easily be a 4 or 5, but 2/5 if only for the need of a mute button.
So, a few things... the game has some very, VERY grindy patches- the first level is pretty easy, then the second level is ZOMG HARD, so you have to repeat the first a number of times to get upgrades. There's very little transparency with regard to the abilities you gain and what they do- I'm all for making the player experiment to get the most out of the skills, but some of them give NO clue, and the J skill doesn't seem to do anything at all. Finally, when you repeat a level and fail it, it takes away your stars for having beaten it. I love the combination of cool downs, mana abilities, and just plain blasting off, but the above points make the game hard to play in an annoying way rather than a challenging way. 2/5 for now- rebalance some things and it'll be a great game.
We tried keypad clicks both in local environment and in the live version, and it works fine for us. Could you PM us with detailed system specs?
