This reminds me a lot of "Thomas was alone". If you haven't played that one, then I suggest you do. If you were able to make a masterpiece like this then you should enlighten yourself further with that wonderful game.
This game is anything from lAXE. In fact it's quite tAXEing. However when you mAXE out the upgrades, it becomes pretty easy. You should add an Easter egg where if you finish upgrading everything it plays smooth jazz with some sAXE.
This is one of the few games where I wanted to play purely for the game. I didn't even know about the bade until 2 hours in. This isn't exactly an "original" idea for a game, but honestly, It's really fun and I don't care about that. You have achieved that which a game is supposed to accomplish. And that is to be fun. Good job.
Do you think you can put a main menu button?
Also, once you beat the game, there should be a way to view all the pieces of the poem. As I was playing I listened to them, but I want some time to reflect on the entire thing =P
Ok, one thing i just ran into, in the shop, I misclicked an item twice and it used all of my coins. You should have it where when you buy an item, you have the ability to switch between your original item and the one you bought.
Ok, it's super frustrating when you're in the GD and you have a whole bunch of awesome loot, then you get a notice saying "Oops, there was a problem"
There goes 20 minutes of my life.....
It's practically the same game, but just a recolor.... It's a good thing I really enjoyed the game to begin with, I have absolutely no problem going through it again. Good game.
Hey, this is an odd request, but can you put up a list of all the things that are said when the game is loading? I actually sat there and read them all when the game wouldn't load for me and laughed my butt off while doing it. You guys are very clever, and i think it would be cool if everyone else can see the wit you put into the tiny details of the game.
I just beat floor thirteen and the music changed.... OMG I'M HAVE A SEIZURE IT'S SO DAMN GOOD. Is there a download link to the music in this game? All the pieces I've heard are amazing and I would GLADLY purchase an album.
Sorry about the poem. I've sent you a PM with it.
