A perfect game if you're a fan of Ecco the Dolphin. Essentially this is the pool you start out from in Ecco but instead of removing all your fellow dolphins with one well-timed jump, here you shoot for the stars--literally! It's surprising no one had thought of making a whole game out of the pure joy that was swimming around in Ecco. Thanks arawkins!
A game very well done. Not too hard. A very good entry-level example for this genre. The artwork is enchanting and the plot and characters are wonderful. A point towards the end--just before you are about to head back home--is very cute. Make sure you don't forget to click around. :)
Call me a sucker for Blue Rabbit, but I think the character is so compelling that I really enjoy this tight Star Fox-style rail shooter. It's a quick, three level bash that give instant gratification for those who want to do a little air/sea/space shooting on a break. As an aside, my best friend growing up drew a character that looked just like Blue Rabbit but whose name was Nose Dude. Anyway, perhaps that's one of the reasons that I enjoy the character.
Excellent concept, design, flow and Bill Pete-inspired artwork. The game is very clever and fresh. My biggest criticism is that, at times, there is just too much white space around some of the colored-pencil cut-outs and a number of times, they appear pixelated. Tightening that up would go a long way towards over-all polish. One last thing which is worth noting, I think: the artwork does suffer from being a bit washed out at times. This is a minor criticism, but I think some brighter, darker colors would really suit this game in certain areas. Overall, this was extremely enjoyable! Thanks!
Even though it's a demo, it's still really fun. Especially since the full version is so great. It's cool to see the humble beginnings--especially once you get towards the end of the demo and everything is just outlined.
