This game is sexist! Why does it need a stratified society where women and men cannot play the same class??? Viva la revolution, we must rise up for equality! Ok, not really, but the idea is still stupid.
To tell the truth, I really don't like not being able to hit your opponents. I know that's impossible to implement because of the way this game works, but it really takes away from the feel of a racing game. Playing AI I can smash into feels more real and like I'm actually racing someone.
Unoriginality may be fun because of the player's familiarity with the gameplay but it received no more than 2/5 in my books. Anyone can take ragdoll cannon and reskin it. Hell, if you did this from scratch it may be even worse because you wasted your time remaking another game.
I hate this game. I can't say this is the worst of this genre that I have evert played, but it brings nothing new to the table and is ugly frustrating. You need a tutorial, you need more descriptions, you need a nicer UI, you need a way to reset tech points, you need more ship models, and so on and so on. So yeah, nothing new and a tonne of missing regular issue features 2/5.
No, just because this game took a long time to make does not mean I will give it any appreciation ZerVexon. No matter how long someone spends making the best possible crud-sandwich they can, it's still a crud-sandwich and its going to taste like crap when you eat it. This game, to me, looks like they spent a long time wondering how they can make money for all the work they are doing, and then forgot to do actual work. See, we realize a Flash game might have trouble with basic game mechanics, that's forgivable. However, we do expect some fun when games decide to not innovate. I will not treat a new TD lightly, but if it's fun it's forgivable. So I keep looking at every one of these Flash mmos hoping to find one that's at least fun! RoS is another waste of our time that we are forced to play because we have already been won over by the metagame of collecting badges and these ones look easy if long to get. Why else are we on Kongregate?
1/5, you get no respect for me. The Flash Trifecta of Evil: 1. BETA Product BS allowed for unfinished games to be on Kongregate (How long HAS this game been on BETA???). 2. Ripping off an existing game makes it easy for people to give this high marks even if its horribly dated (when did H of M&M 3 come out?) and has no original ideas. 3. A Pay System is in place. Beyond the fact that that shouldn't be on a Flash game, it should not be on a BETA product and a rip-off (isn't there some copyright problems???)
I found the game easy. The 1st try I experimented with everything and the 2nd I created a streamlined regiment for winning based on the mechanics given. Have a little patience, its pretty obvious what you need to do as deviating a little too far from the right regiment makes winning impossible.
Darkgreen6 you're a retard. Saying Armor Games gave you a virus is like saying Google or the New York Times gave you a virus. It's not a random website, its a well-known establishment. Most likely you have ad-ware or a Trojan that's causing you're problems, hell YOU are probably infecting others as we speak. Use Trend Micro's online Virus Cleaner Housecall to be sure.
Along with pay-for-play or pay-for-advantage games, the "this game is really cool but you can only unlock the cool features on a different site" BS is getting old quick. Put full games on Kong, anything less gets a 1. 1/5
