So I play on a Mac (Safari). Every time i open the game, it resets to year 20. I have to remember to save to a file, and re-load, but I don't accrue bonus years when I do that. Could someone have a look at this please (or let me know whats going wrong).
It should remember your save state, yes. If you tell me how long you've played and what units you remember having, and your progress sounds realistic, I can get you a saved game around the point you left off at. I can be kind of slow to reply sometimes, though - if you've played for "hours" and not "days", it might be faster to start over.
I'm having a problem with the micromanagment where a) the progress of the bar is jerky so its hard to stop - it suddenly leaps like 10% and b) i stop clicking but it sometimes dosnt stop increasing which means it goes over and i have to pay. Good idea, but annoing to use so i don't use it - which makes me sad.
I too am feeling short changed. Don't get me wrong, the game is 'ok' but I was hoping for some kind of satire or something like oiligarch where it was making a point about the current economy or state of the world. Perhaps its timing as being around the election time is just out? Hell I'm even British and don't care that much who the yanks elect. Its all gone downhill since you declared war on us and sued for independence!
Loving this game - not sure why. Possibly its simplicity, reminds me of bloody fun game in that you just have to keep going until you're stuck, and theres just an element of luck.
Erm - I had a character called "Lance Armstrong" who lost an eye in a fight, then the game gave him an eyepatch and named him "Lance 'winks' Armstrong". How Epic is that!
Whilst my first thought was a mute button, after a few minutes of mindless violence I did find my self humming along. mmmm hum mmm bam bub buuuurr mmmmmm hmmmmm
