I really appreciated that all of the puzzles on this were solvable with a bit of thinking! Often games of this genre end up forcing you to google a walkthrough because the solution is so obscure, but in this case I quickly knew that I would be able to figure it out if I stared and the screen and clicked enough :)
It amazes me how far flash games has come in the last 7 years. This game was tedious and one-dimensional, even though I can see the creativity that made it a highly-rated game back in 2007.
Was very confused at first, a tutorial would be very helpful! Got into it, and I think it would be really fun with team battles and such! Keep up the good work, and develop this game farther, it has a ton of potential!
Even though I enjoyed the demo of this game, I didn't really appreciate the deceptive main-page advertisement of a free Act III and IV. Being able to unlock two acts for free is different from that being contingent on paying $5 for Acts V, VI, and VII.
The more I play this game, the more I like it. Started off dreading the hard badge, but now I'm enjoying myself! Simple game, but well executed. Other than the random dash length, enjoyable. 4/5
Usually not my favourite kind of game, but I enjoyed it for the time it took to get the badges :) Nice artwork, mechanics. I got into beating the baddies and protecting my tower. Also really nice to see a dev that cares about the community, and works hard to optimize their game!
Despite the cool ideas in this game, the controls suck, and the platform element of the game is very very frustrating. Death from falling does not belong in this game. Stars should be kept on death, and the character should automatically grab onto ladders. The character moves too slowly, and should be able to jump farther. Don't make players re-do a finicky portion of the platform just because they didn't figure out a puzzle the first time. Make up and jump the same button. 2/5
