Re the new update: The light-up dot on the upgrades/managers is awesome!! Except that it stays lit when the only thing I can buy is an angel upgrade I don't want yet. That kind of makes it useless. Also: The green moving lines. I get that you guys want this to be pretty and flashy. I feel your pain there. But it just hurts our eyes. And the achievement popup over the donuts--we still hate that. XD Don't get me wrong--love this game!! I play it faithfully. And you guys actually care so much about making it a great game, which is why we take the time to mention this stuff. Keep doing the great job you're doing! :D
You know, there's nothing wrong with deciding you don't want to update a game anymore because you want to move on to other things. But you did leave this one broken. The difficulty update broke a few things, like the difficulty resetting itself, and the fact that sometimes when I reset I can't earn souls. Please, either fix the last update or remove it. If you leave the game broken forever you're doing yourself and us a disservice.
AAARGH! Lost my difficulty again!! I reset, just clicking once, and lost my Difficulty: 1. That's the second time I climbed up to "winning" the game, and reset for the difficulty, and now have NOTHING to show for it. Ragequit.
Huh...I was on Difficulty 1 and have been resetting all day to amplify my evil sorcerous powers--and now, looking at the screen I see the "Difficulty 1" is gone. Did I accidentally reset it away? Or was that just the shortest-lived update ever?
Dear Dibbles: My friends, if you have the technology to mine gems and forge metal for a crown, you can think of a way to bridge a tiny gap or safely climb a cliff. YOU DON'T NEED TO DIE! *sob*
You know, when this game was giving me a headache with the scrolling BUY! buttons and I saw all the feedback against it, I thought, I bet the developers are reading this now, and if I go to bed it will be fixed in the morning. AND IT WAS. How many games can you say that about? Well done, guys, thank you. :)
Ok, the new UI is definitely pretty, but omg, the constant flickering scrolling is giving me a headache. I get that it's there to tell us what the buttons do, but please, in the name of my sacrificed legions of angels, please give us an option to make the buttons STOP. Also: Scroll wheels are my friends, for easy and fast scrolling of pages. They could be your friends too! Embrace the love. :)
I really like this game, but the formatting of the numbers is a bit distracting. It requires constant mental converting. One upgrade for me right now is 53,500M, the next is 481B and the one after that is 4,000B. Why not 53.5B, 481B, 4.0T? The commas are a bit confusing. We don't really think of a trillion as a thousand billions, after all. =)
Wait, it costs me 25 gold pieces to hire a master of the arcane arts, but 50 to hire some yard workers to clear out some rocks or grass?? Man, the gardeners have a good union in this world.
Things my mages can do: Command the elements to their whim, rain down fiery/icy/poisonous/electrical wrath upon their enemies, break the very laws of physics to channel the powers of nature itself.
Things they can't do: Stand on grass or rocks.
What?? They have very delicate feet.
That's it, now I'm convinced. This "Epic Quest" is an April Fool's prank by some joker who thought it would be amusing to watch us play the most nonsensical and annoying games Kongregate has to offer, and laugh at our failure to finish the quest.
LMAO at the ending! Awesome. XD Got to the end a lot faster once I realized I should put my self-repairing trunk in the front of the convoy. *headdesk* Fun game! I would have really liked to have a little more control over targeting, though--say, to have the UAV's concentrate on airborne enemies, or to have one truck prioritize missiles when they appear, so I don't have to track my targeting all the way back there. But overall, I really enjoyed it, thanks!
Bike bells are really, really not this hard to get. You go to a bike store, or even Target or Walmart, and you say, gimmee a bike bell, and you buy it. They don't make you jump over pianos or anything. HOW IS THIS EASY.
yea working on that :/
