Loved, loved, loved this game! Great balance and gameplay, lots of challenging decisions about equipment and skills. It did end fairly abruptly, though--I had so many skills I wanted to try out, and I only got to choose a tiny fraction of them. Will there be more to this game, or a sequel? The only other thing that bothered me was the inability to choose a female avatar. Come on now, we chicks love to hack our way through golem warriors too, you know! :)
Oh god, I finally got the last achievement--tank--and it gave me a speed spell--but took away my healing spell!! What's that about? It's not much of a "reward" if it takes away my healy goodness. Gimme back my spell! XD Other than that, love, love, love this game. Well balanced and entertaining, I've played it more times than I'd probably be willing to admit. Thanks for a great game--please make some more! :D
Beautiful art, and clever, funny ideas! If it had a mirrored cursor, and some kind of hint system, ANY kind of hint system, I'd give it five stars. But the amount of time I spent staring at a picture with 1 difference left kind of killed the fun.
You know it's a dark and creepy game when I play some music to a nun, she jumps up in joy saying I've given her a sign, and I think, oh god, she just went to kill herself, didn't she?? and run down to check the cliff. XD
Ok, so, I thought I was doing really well--I've gotten three stars on every level without too much trouble, I never failed a level even once, and then, suddenly, that last level. WHAT HAPPENED THERE? I got demolished. Geez, talk about a difficulty spike. o_O
When I start to consider downgrading my weapon to the laser gun because the bright beam is the most reliable way to have any idea of where my character is on the screen--yeah, that's probably too cluttered. XD Still, I really enjoyed this game and played it for a lot longer than I expected to. Just one more quest...ok, one more...oh wait, that one's really easy...and I've almost leveled up...GOTTA STOP PLAYING!!
This would be such a relaxing, peaceful, meditative game if it weren't for that POW sound effect that plays every time you lose. I swear I flinch every time. XD
Wow, I thought I hated the ninjas. I seriously considered forming a Ninja Hating Society, after those last two games. And then came the Amazons. Now I see that what I felt for Ninjas was merely a mild dislike. Now at last I know the meaning of true hatred.
Aaaarrrrgh!! Played this for so long yesterday, came back today, and all my progress is gone!! *revises five star review to a 1 star* Please, let us save our games.
A minor quibble--I wish the energy bar had a greater contrast between full and empty. It's hard to see how much energy I have, especially when I'm focusing on dodging ten thousand bullets. n_n
It's not often that a game leaves me still thinking about the characters long after I finish the game itself. When it happens, it's a wonderful thing. Bravo to you for creating characters that stepped out of the game and into my brain. Terrific game!!
The coins...the coins...WHERE ARE THE FREAKIN' COINS???? Ok, it's a very cute, clever, funny game. The riddles are clever and satisfying to solve, the art is cute, the music is catchy. BUT WHERE ARE THE LAST COINS ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH
The Ninjas are buffed a bit in the update. We realized that they must be cooler to remind the players of the good old ninjas from the first game...
