Maybe my laptop is just trash, but rolling has too large of a cooldown, I didn't die until wave 30, but those cooldowns after using 1,2,3 and dodging multiple bunker hitters is a massive problem when you can only roll once every 3 seconds. Other than that it's a fun game.
Eh, it's not really a hard game. It's the lack of decent controls and inability to control the quality that make it so tough. It is by no means fast like the auto-acceleration makes it out to be, you just have controls that delay both before and after you use them, and you have a hit box that is significantly larger than you are. Other than that it's like any other game of its kind out there. Except you can't quick reset. 3/5
I couldn't have said it better than LancerEvolutionX and Artcp, the game is pretty fun, but definitely deserves a P2W tag. I was only planning to stick around for the badges. I got 2/3, but now I can't even play the game to get the third one I'm 3/5ths of the way to completing because of a memory error I can't find I simple fix for. Guess I'll just have to call it quits, not really worth it to me to spend the time or effort on fixing.
Could be because my laptop is king of the garbage heap, but I can't run this game efficiently. Settings to turn off sounds, reduce the graphics and effects and make things look less smooth so my computer will run smoothly. The fireballs are hell, I just lag across the screen until I die.
I actually don't like playing alongside the other characters. It adds just enough lag to kill me on other things that I would have survived had I not lagged. Maybe an option to turn that off?
Over the course of 7 years of all the things they could have done, they either buffed all the zombies immensely, or nerfed every gun immensely. 6 round to the head to kill a zombie with the starter gun.. are you special? There is no way you can play this anymore without abusing some kind of cheat. The 2nd gun takes 2/6 to kill a zombie if you headshot... they are finally living up to the name if their company I'm ashamed of them.
I have to say I'm very disappointed with this one, compared to the other union city games this one seems very hastily made and not patched for having been out for 5 years. Zombies attacked my by falling from the sky on the rooftop, if there were more than 10 zombies chasing me I couldn't leave an area, the way you give your partner weapons is horrendous, the revival system didn't work, you had to save and quit and reload. The riot shield zombie took no damage even when the shield was down or was turned around, yet I could swing a katana at the middle and 1HKO... game is riddled with this stuff.
Recommendation when a word a line of lettrs isn't a word, or if you misspell, it should clear the typing line instead of making you backspace as this saves time and stop even more errors being made
It was okay, not interactive enough to keep me wanting to do 18 different rooms to finish a level. Some people like it, but it's just not for me, farewell hard badge.
As someone going for the impossible badge, high contrast is a must, but there's not much contrast when you're dodging white with a white orb. Also never have I hated money so much, the extra movement has cost me countless lives
Force of smashing the bricks downwards, but not from hitting themon the side? Intentionally leaving parts of physics out to make the game harder gets you a 3/5 for me.
It's okay, seems more like a beta game to me, hit boxes on your character are too big, I think it's absurd there are medals based off of how well you do when there are projectiles that can't be dodged.
Really liked it, still have a problem with the hard badge just like the 2nd game, too much reliance on luck. My first play I got to 25x multiplier and hit a red note, and got back to 22x before it ended, I only saw that I missed 3-5 yellows, not hardly enough to even get the medium badge, and I got 1 purple power-up. 2nd runthrough I got 54x multiplier and no purple powerups.... There's nothing I'm doing wrong, I'm just not lucky enough to get however many are needed to get the badge whilst hitting no red.
Very fun game, my only quirk is with the hard badge, I think badges should be more skill reliant than this. It's bases a HUGE proportion on luck, I can play the song on with the same conditions over and over again, and get scores from 1.8 million to 3 million, never touching red not, and touching every flashing and purple note. I've never hit a flashing not and a purple note, even though I've seen comment where this got people the badge. I've never been friends with RNGesus, so I hate to see badges that are so heavily luck reliant.
Not sure how this is under 5 minute games, not sure what to think about this game either, it's like the deeper into the pages I go, the weirder the games are.
